I'm going to object until we get a vote on legislation to provide a $2,000 direct payment to the working class.

Yes. Bernie is a socialist, but at least an honest one. And he does appear to have some concern for his constituency.

I mean since the debt load this country has allowed to grow uncontrolled, it might as well be the Americans who get some of their money back for a change, instead of the money being sent overseas only to be laundered and then funneled back to the crooks robbing the national treasury.
Well I wouldn’t go as far as saying an honest one. He’s doing this for political reasons, not so much for what he is portraying his actions to be, to help the citizens. But I am with him on this, but for totally different reasons.

He’s honest in that he’s a radical socialist and lets everybody know. People in his district are fine with it. Of course, most of them are wealthy folk with vacation homes all over the universe ...but heck...who isn’t?

Nothing overruling the E.O. still in force and maybe more so as the week progresses.
The Section 230 liability protection for twitter, big tech- removal was not in the Natl Defense Authorization Act— which is the main reason Trump vetoed it. They took it out.
Nothing in any bill about “overruling” the Sept. 2018 E.0, and the National Emergency declared therein.

Mitch doesn’t care. He’s used to being attacked. He has the satisfaction of having defeated Trumps MAGA agenda for the most part, and now he’s looking forward to Trump leaving in just a few weeks. After that it will be back to the pre-Trump business as usual. In fact, as the covid bill showed, they’re already back to business as usual, and basically ignoring Trump
