Last I knew the state of CA was getting $400 bil in federal aid from Uncle Sugar annually.

It’s actually gone up under Trump.

Not a bailout, but still one helluva lot of other people’s money.

Then they deserve to be destroyed by the Socialists.

CA sends billions more to DC than comes back in expenditures.

And has in every year since WWII.

CA, in effect, “bails out” half the states of the old south.

If you sue somebody, they have the right to defend themselves. The USSC is has to avail them this right. Just procedure.

Still doesn’t come close to cancelling out its bad influence on the rest of the country, and the costs of the regulations that it pioneers.

And Paxton and 17 other State Attorneys General have signed on to this as the case of a lifetime.

This case is an opportunity to set forth the meaning of the union of the states under the constitution in a way that has not been done since the founders and again the Civil War.

Who would not want to be in on that decision and write it.

In fact I see an amusing possibility as an outcome. The decision will be 6-3. Roberts being CJ will assign himself the job of writing the opinion of the court. But, the other 5 will write a separate opinion concurring only in the judgment and setting forth their own views. Then, which is the majority opinion, that written by Roberts or that written by the majority of 5 concurring dissenters.

Because CA has the magical power to compel other states?

The citizens of those states determine the direction they take.

How has any “productive” state bailed out CA? That’s utter nonsense on its face.

The Communist Democrats have already made one trillion-dollar COVID bailout attempt. We're not talking about conjecture. They put ink to paper and passed it in the House to have it shot down by the Republican-majority Senate.

“The Communist Democrats have already made one trillion-dollar COVID bailout attempt. “

to be spread across the 50 states.

It will be interesting to find out where all the money came
from, but we do know it’s war on us by the Left.

The Communist Democrat trillion dollar COVID was to be spread toward the “sky is falling, we had to lock it all down” Democrat states, not toward the open and working Republican states. Just look at what New York State alone stood to gain. Why do you think these Democrat states were so determined to shut down their economies?

I agree with you and hope we’re right, but I have a lot of respect for Jarrett’s opinion, so I threw it in.

Bill O’Reilly told Sean Hannity this afternoon that SCOTUS will not grant “standing.” Says the justices are somewhat cowardly
