Legislators have asked for the special session.
The Governor’s attempt to block it may not work though.
The Legislature may be over to open a session on their own, by citing their authority in the US, not Georgia, constitution.

I don't think anybody is arguing this statement. The problem is that the winner of the state's popular vote has not been resolved, and called into serious question with credible, direct video evidence as well as overwhelming circumstantial evidence.
Nobody has an issue with electors being decided by popular vote...people have an issue with electors being decided by a manufactured, engineered and manipulated tally being misrepresented as the popular vote.
