The Constitution gives governors no role in federal elections. How then can a governor block the people’s legislators from meeting and voting?
Answer: he can’t.
“The Constitution gives governors no role in federal elections.”
Considering that, wouldn’t it be nice if there WERE an institution that had some say in federal issues? I mean, we could create something called, the “Department Of Justice”. Or maybe the “Federal Bureau of Investigation”. Just kickin’ around some ideas.
