"Like I told Barack, if I reach something where there's a fundamental disagreement we have based on a moral principle, I'll develop some disease and say I have to resign."

So, Biden knows he’ll have a short presidency. Sounds like he’s not happy about this, since he made a record of this plan.

Clearly an idea that just popped into his head out of the blue.

In a sane world an utterance like this would cause electors to change their votes.

“ Many of us have taken oaths to preserve, protect, and defend that Constitution.”

On several occasions, not that I needed a booster shot.

When the God fearing founders of this nation came up with the Republican vs democratic form of governmental representation. They considered that groups we call political partys once elected to a given political office. Could place their groups control and interest above the common good and benefit of the nation once elected to a legislative, executive or judicial office. But would work together for the common interest and that would happen by taking the oath of office.

In an era when a man’s word was considered sacred They truly believed that upon election. requiring taking the oath of office which swears loyalty to abide and support the constitution would take precedence and avert any fractious direction super ceding any political position taken by the group that the office holder associated with before entering .It took the democrat convention of 2012 when they attempted to remove any reference to God, “Our Creator,”( where was Biden when that happened ?) to clearly demonstrate that belief no longer applied and when one takes that oath today it means nothing.

Yeh, my boss at work told me this also. If I ever have a moral disagreement with him, he’ll resign and let me take over...

Then again, maybe he doesn’t have dementia at all. He just knew he was a puppet and faked it to save face when he gets dropped to the curb.

(Hunter aside) it seems to me he’s saying he ran for office for purposes of evading the law preventing a non-natural-born citizen from becoming president. Which means he can’t truthfully complete the swearing in oath

If a president and a vp fundamentally disagree, the solution is not for the president to resign, but for the vp to resign, since the president is the primary selection on the election ticket.

5 U.S. Code § 3331. Oath of office

An individual, except the President, elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath: “I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” This section does not affect other oaths required by law.

(Pub. L. 89–554, Sept. 6, 1966, 80 Stat. 424.)

You make an excellent point. His statements, taken at face value, prevent him from taking the oath of office in a truthful way. He has no intention of ‘holding up the law of the land’, and will step aside if any “ideological difficulties” arise. He is the “c” word I saw today on a deleted post.

I am trying to get my head around this by applying it to a real-world situation: if my boss and I have a fundamental disagreement, my boss cleans out his desk and I get his job?

Joe Biden — President of the Bizarro States of America.

It’s been obvious from day one they’re both just lawn jockeys. The big question is “Whose actually gonna be ruling the oligarchy?”

We are living in astonishing times. Biden keeps telling us, directly, in unambiguous language, what he is doing.

“We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

It’s what Obama called audacity. I think future historians will be amazed at the raw truthfulness of those who have successfully undermined the country’s basic philosophical principles. The concept of telling the absolute truth about plans for domination can be found in the writings of many national and international socialists, and that truth-telling was shouted by Maxine Waters about Obama’s group “Organizing for America.”

““The president has put in place an organization that contains a kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life... That’s going to be very, very powerful...
And that database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it’s never been done before.”

Biden isn’t signaling. He’s telling us what will happen, in certain terms. It’s an amazing way to establish tyranny. You just tell your subjects what you’re going to do and act on it. No subterfuge, no hinting. Just a blunt statement.

“Like I told Barack, if I reach something where there’s a fundamental disagreement we have based on a moral principle, I’ll develop some disease and say I have to resign.”

I once read an interview with Benjamin Netanyahu. He was asked about the lessons from the Holocaust. He said (paraphrased), “When someone says they want to kill you, believe them.”

Good post....Bidens pretty much telling us what’s going on. His ability to ‘cover’ himself is shot!
