Nike is facing a backlash in Japan over a controversial video ad that takes on racism and the bullying of mixed-race schoolchildren.
The 2-minute ad, “Keep Moving Yourself: The Future,” features three teenage girl soccer players who are bullied at school, on a train and in a locker room, each questioning whether they should accept it. One scene depicts a teen, whose father is black, surrounded by girls who are pulling at her hair.
In the end, each of the bullied kids scores goals for their teams and are celebrated by their teammates with a declaration by Nike, “You can’t stop sport.”

The ad is meant for their black customer base in the US.
Asics is my favorite. Nike is a thug brand that I quit a long time ago.
Incorrect. It’s meant mostly for a segment of it’s white customer base in the U.S.

Pisses me off that Nike messes with Japanese culture. Japan is a different ancient culture. Nike should MYOB.
Heck, Japanese natives who work in the USA “too long” are no longer considered “real” Japanese when they return. It is the most xenophobic nation on Earth. Though China is getting more radically that way now too.
there is a long complicated story that happened on Big Brother this year.
This year was the Woke Black Power year that caused all kinds of friction.
One black player is not speaking to another after the show because she called him an Uncle Tom.
Another black player is half black half japanese. The black female player did not treat him well..and would say things like he is only 1/2 black.
He isnt speaking to her either.

I get accused of being jealous of Sidney Powell by one idiot here. I am not..but I am a little jealous of the Jaime Kern Lima. Went from being on the first season of Big brother as a grocery bagger to selling a company for 1.6 billion to l’oreal and buying a house next door to Oprah..also bought a house from Ellen.
I wish I had the ingenuity to do what she did.
I would never have Nike products in my house.
In the sequel, two of the 3 girls will go transgender in the next 5 years.....
Nike will have to come out with a new line of transgender products.
Have you heard of Merrell? Someone has requested Merrell shoes on his Christmas list, and I never heard of the brand before.
