WILMINGTON, Del. (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's latest strategy for attacking the legitimacy of the U.S. election appears to be focusing on a bold power play of persuading Republican state lawmakers to overturn the vote in states won by his Democratic challenger Joe Biden.
To succeed, Trump would have to surmount considerable legal hurdles, overcome public condemnation and sway lawmakers in at least three states to break with democratic norms.
Most election scholars said the odds of Trump ultimately being named president are exceedingly slim....
The president has repeatedly claimed without providing evidence that the election was stolen....
This is a difficult legal argument since the campaign is asking a court to override the vote of millions of Americans because of relatively minor alleged voting irregularities.

The “Popular Vote” does not elect US Presidents.
“because of relatively minor alleged voting irregularities”
I don’t care what the evidence would be it will never be enough for the Dispicable left media.
Trump WON the popular vote, with a massive 74 million real votes.
Biden’s “votes” contain at least 15 million fraudulent ballots.
Their hatred is the center point of their politics.
Governors are in charge of public health within their states. If a governor mis-handles COVID, the media wants to blame Trump. But that's not the way it works.
Under the Constitution, state lawmakers can decide who the next president will be. The media wants to call that "Trump overriding the popular vote". But that's not how it works -- quite apart from the fact that the popular vote never plays any role in the election of a president. Let's just follow the Constitution. Is that so hard?
“override the vote of millions of Americans”
Fake news.
Correct to “Overide the counting of fraudulent ballots submitted by a cheating globalist scum.”
Trumps vote count was closer to 80 Million.
“Explainer” is now right up there with “problematic” as one of my least favorite new words. “You totally don’t have to think or research for yourself because I’m ‘explaining’ all this complex legal stuff for you. I’m an expert even though I’m a reporter and not a lawyer. And don’t worry, this is totally objective because it says ‘explainer’ instead of ‘editorial’ or ‘opinion,’ even though it’s actually just my non-expert opinion.”
“Exceedingly slim” like the media polls that had Susan Collins losing by a massive 12% in Maine only for her to win by 9 points.
Does anybody believe anything from the media at all?
Yes. The media is now just in the business of explaining: “Here’s how we want you to think about some stuff”.
The media has presented no evidence that this election was on the level.
Donald Trump HAD the popular vote on election night until the wee hour theft of the election.
Even as Fox, CNN, AP, et al had “projected” wins and losses in Biden’s favor, they couldn’t overcome that popular vote lead that Trump held all night.
Both Lin Wood and Sydney Powell say Trump won the popular vote.
If the Democrats cheated then they didn’t win the election. A fraudulent election will not be respected. Very bad things may come to those who cheated.

Trump can EASILY win. It is about having the fortitude to throw out hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots in different counties.
It’s happened in the past without much fanfare.
this was 2016

Records: Too many votes in 37% of Detroit’s precincts
Joel Kurth, and Jonathan OostingThe Detroit News
Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals...
...The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent. And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes.
...The Detroit News last week was first to report that more than half of Detroit would be ineligible for the recount because of the irregularities. The results were based on county reports obtained by The News...
> I don’t care what the evidence would be it will never be enough <
Right. Trump’s best hope is not with the state legislatures. It’s with the courts. And I predict that what you said there will happen.
Judges will look at the mountain of evidence. Then they’ll say it’s not enough. There might be a few exceptions here and there. But most judges won’t want to upset the apple cart. So they will let the “vote” stand.
Sorry for being so pessimistic. But that’s my prediction.
No matter who is inaugurated on January 20th half the country will believe it was through fraud.
