Students at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, will be required to participate in a diversity training seminar this winter. The university told students recently that they will not be permitted to register for their spring courses until they complete the diversity training program.
According to a report by Campus Reform, students at MIT will be now be required to participate in a diversity training session before they are able to enroll in their spring courses.
“You will have a registration hold placed on your account and will be unable to register for IAP and/or spring 2021 classes if you do not complete both trainings by the Nov. 2 deadline,” a recent email from MIT officials read.

Online, sleep through it, and move along to other things.
You really believe that’s where it will end? :)
I want to close my eyes really tight also...
Gays just wanted to be accepted.
No, they wanted domestic partnerships.
No, they wanted gay marriage.
No, they wanted to be able to adopt kids.
Nothing is ever enough for the left.
Soon whites will be forced to be embarrassed and humiliated at schools and work as part of “diversity training”
We can both close our eyes tighter.
But that’s what kids do.
Not adults.
Not men.
As an MIT alumnus I am appalled by their new devotion to diversity and wokeness.
50+ years ago, if you couldn’t solve differential equations by just looking at them you should go somewhere else. I do not believe that is still true.
And we did have diversity. All were judged based on merit and nothing else.
Extremely insulting to the students.
Alumni brain rot.
What are the odds that Steven Pinker is involved?
There was nothing wrong with “Don’t ask, don’t tell”.
Now the monsters have escaped from the closet.
I think “dont ask, don’t tell” was a very early step in the process...now we have a transgender leading the transition in the military for biden.
The military is such a Different Thing from Everything Else that different rules and laws must apply, I think.
Being gay should be no reason to be disqualified from almost all lines of work.
But military folks face life and death in battle.
If don’t ask, don’t tell worked, then great.
What was it before then, you couldn’t serve if you were gay?
Yup. That's why Klinger was always cross-dressing in Mash, he was desperately trying to be kicked out of the Army and sent home.
0bama would have promoted Klinger to Major General.
ROFL!!!!
I needed that :)
That was always funny.
He was as hairy as a gorilla and gave NO indication of being gay, besides wearing the dresses :)
I am guessing just saying you were gay wasn’t enough to keep you out of the army even when it wasn’t allowed.
I actually have no idea how it worked.
How do you Test if someone is gay?
I worked with a number of gay guys in graphics in Manhattan and maybe 40 percent weren’t so easy to spot, even after knowing them for a while.
The rest were!!
For those that have already completed semesters then I would think that they could sue if they were not allowed to finish their education. Of course the best thing they could do is get out of these evil places.
my husband graduated first in his class from MIT 41 years ago. He would ask what diversity training has to do with physics..... i can imagine what he will say when i show him this in the morning
Diversity: will they be taught that the Indian caste system is bad? That Gan Chinese racism exists and is bad? The Hindu and Islamic sectarian violence is bad? That Communist China is a brutal dictatorship?
Or that, once again, whites are the root of all the world’s problems?
Your bridge dies not stay up because of diversity.
Your airplane does not stay in the sky because of diversity.
Your lifesaving electronic medical device does not function correctly because of diversity.
Etc.
See my previous.
The hard sciences used to be the last bastion against this feeling-based madness. Now, it has come for them.
