As an MIT alumnus I am appalled by their new devotion to diversity and wokeness.
50+ years ago, if you couldn’t solve differential equations by just looking at them you should go somewhere else. I do not believe that is still true.
And we did have diversity. All were judged based on merit and nothing else.
my husband graduated first in his class from MIT 41 years ago. He would ask what diversity training has to do with physics..... i can imagine what he will say when i show him this in the morning

I work there now. They already have a sexual harassment thing everyone has to go to and repeat a couple of rightthink phrases. My plan for this is to invent some category to put myself in and tell HR that someone has “oppressed” me in some way. That should be handy to pull out in case of anything that is filed against me.
What a waste of everyone’s time that injects suspicion into every motive.
