FOX 2 - Michigan GOP senators Lana Theis and Tom Barrett are requesting an election audit citing anomalies like the documented Antrim County ballot processing problem and numerous allegations of state election discrepancies.
In a letter to Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson Thursday, the two are "urging" her for an official audit before the State Board of Canvassers certify the 2020 General Election results.
Every citizen deserves to have faith in the integrity of the election process and its outcome, Thies and Barrett wrote. It is our responsibility, as elected public servants, to assure the people of Michigan of the processs integrity through complete transparency and the faithful investigation of any allegations of wrongdoing, fraud, or abuse.
In Antrim County a glitch caused thousands of ballots to be wrongly counted for the opposing candidate. Antrim is one of 47 counties in the state to use Dominion Voting Systems to process ballots. Dominion has been a flashpoint for controversy with questions being raised around the country about security issues or even a software problem...

LS retweet: They're asking for the audit to be completed before the election results are certified.
Looks like things are moving in the right direction. In addition to the court decision in PA today.
You’d think more Republican legislators other than these two would be requesting a full audit too.
If I were SOS in the middle of this stuff, my response would be “Hell Yes!!” Going to prove all this fraud talk is absolute BS.
But the Dem response will be to fight it.
Audit/request. No. We gotta show these ‘people’ we ain’t f’n around. Fine. Throw us a bone and pacify a few. Not this time around.
request my ass...ORDER this clown to do. We’re wasting time.
She’s a Democrat
That's not a "glitch," it was made that way.
If the State Board of Canvassers certify the 2020 General Election, will the state legislature be able to convene and name electors for the Electoral College election at a later date?
Later reporting clarified the matter as user error; some elections clerk pushed the wrong buttons, which is more difficult to fob off as a mistake, IMO.
Either way, an audit has gotta be done; way too much doubt been sown.
“How about Fing DEMAND an audit!”
Two state senators can’t demand anything. All they can do is ask nicely. You”ll need the other 20 Republican state senators by your side in order to demand.
Rats nervously scurrying, vacillating whether or not to jump ship or stand bravely on deck. Two of them have decided to do the right thing. They’re waiting to see if they’re able to withstand the backlash.
Time for Bill Barr to let them know that even if they deny the audit to be completed, anyone found to be involved in the fraud and cover-up will be going to prison because the investigation will continue with or without their ‘permission’.
Prisons are full. Building more feeds the prison/industrial complex. Nobody fears the consequences anymore. Ever wonder how LBJ got them the black vote for 50 years? They’re doing the same to the rest of us. School systems and universities are what’s that word: systematic?
Demand,backed up with assured consequences.
The situation is even further out than it seems. Time to storm ones legislators, I think.
Here is how it is being done - in a manner which can be grasped and explained by we who are not IT people or mathematicians. Am watching it now, and will watch again, in order to do just that. Very very important - most likely best to watch before it is pulled.
The votes are not being counted. They are being estimated by machines, and being manipulated in real-time.
Thank you.
