Dr. Michael Osterholm, who is a member of Joe Biden's newly announced coronavirus task force, said on Tuesday to MSNBC that the United States must go back into a lockdown to get COVID-19 cases under control.
"Can you see a scenario around the corner, perhaps, in this winter where there’s some form of a national lockdown, maybe like one we’re seeing in Europe, where the schools stay open or some form of a lockdown if this gets bad enough?" MSNBC host Willie Geist asked

What these guys want is a European “confinement”, and there’s no question that that’s EXACTLY what they will do.
Great, they lock us down people many people won’t be able to pay mortgage.
I’m guessing benevolent /s government will step in and own all mortgages, with an eye to owning all things.
They will decide who needs what home.

As a Californian, in some ways a Biden presidency would be no different and not an alarming shift.
I already am in a lockdown, my kids still not back in school, masks and fines for not wearing them, bad energy and city management, cancel culture, high taxes.
But I care more about myself. As Rich Baris (Peoples Pundit) said, I care about the guy in Erie County PA whose vote was stolen and now will lose his job to China and instead will have to go back to painting houses.
I like Scott Adams but he only thinks about himself and how his net worth was the highest in his life yesterday (stock market), so he doesn’t care who is President. He preferred Trump but no big deal. Well, it’s a huge deal for some, especially in those dying Midwest states that were stolen.
