I have a gut feeling Barr might be a swamp creature.

Something tells me that in the end, they will conclude that there was some wrongdoing, but it doesn’t rise to the level of “widespread fraud” and nothing will be done. I suspect whatever Durham found out has already been consigned to the shredder or butn-bag. The FBI, CIA and others are busy hiding everything they can to keep Trump from declassifying and releasing info about all the 0bama/Biden Clinton corruption and illegalities.

Maybe this time Bagpipes might do something as he is out of job unless

But his job seems to be keeping any revelations of Deep State deeds tangled up in procedure while Trump is in power. If Trump's gone, he goes back into retirement quite willingly.

“In before the “nothing will happen” crowd.”

Nice job bro, you have to be fast!

So many on this forum display brazen cynicism as though it was a virtue

What’s weasley about that? Should they investigate allegations that aren’t apparently credible?

This is just Barr appeasing his boss.

Notice the weasel-like words that give him cover, like “Apparently” credible allegations.

I spent a long time working in big companies. This is “snake speak”, pure and simple.

NOTHING is likely to come of this. It’s positioning, and positioning ONLY so that Trump doesn’t fire him.

Collectively, or individually?

The courts seem to have a precedent of interpreting that standard as individual events capable of changing the outcome by themselves.

Only a fool will believe that anything positive for Trump will come out of this. Bagpipes Barr is crossing the T’s, dotting the I’s on the cover up. It also giving him an excuse to drag his feet even more on his damn RAT Coup investigation.

“may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”

We have a very tough task. It can be done. If I didn't believe the BS since election night,I would just accept it like I had to when magic negro won.

I’ll tell you what happened. Barr looked at Esper getting fired today, with Wray and others on the chopping block. I figured he’d be next. Unless he did something. LOL

That makes a lot of sense. If he did nothing and Trump lost the election he would only remain AG for another ten and a half weeks. This maximizes his chance of continuing to draw gov. paychecks that look like peanuts compared to what he was used to making in the private sector. Pretty smart thinking there!

If anything, what this does is give more creedance to these allegations and puts more pressure in whistleblowers. I’ll take any good news I can get and this just might be that! Take the wins however small.

Well maybe Trump will fire Barr first thing tomorrow. Why? For opening up a DOJ investigation.

Trump figures if Barr is going to investigate the 2020 election fraud in the same manner as he investigated the 2016 election fraud, then what’s the point?

Not saying they are wrong....just in before them.

LOL. Maybe this is what Barr met with Mitch about this morning. "Senator, I'm about to kick a hornets nest". Love how the MSM is framing this: "Despite no evidence of any election fraud, Barr is investigating..." As if A. fraud hasn't been reported, and B. They have any idea what evidence Barr has. I hope this goes somewhere, as our election system would embarrass a Banana Republic.

I think Barr has had enough, why don't we just cut him loose and replace him with Gen Flynn.
