Why Sen. Cruz Believes the 'Legal Process' Surrounding the Election Will Be a Good Thing

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) on Sunday called for thorough investigations into allegations of voter fraud throughout the country.

"We're hearing lots of allegations about a dead person voted. We heard a report from one county in Michigan where the election software mistakenly counted 6,000 votes that were cast for Donald Trump, it switched them to Joe Biden," Cruz told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures." "Now, I know they apparently caught that but that same software is used in 47 counties throughout Michigan. That needs to be examined and determined that there's not a problem counting the votes. And the legal process is how you resolve those questions."

Cruz mentioned what most Americans think and feel: there are so many rumors swirling that it's hard to know what's accurate and factual.

"We have a process for ascertaining the truth, which is that you can go and present evidence and contest it, in a court of law. Those appeals will go up through the state appellate system and the federal appellate system and this case could very easily end up at the U.S. Supreme Court," he said.

The Texas senator, who was part of the legal team that fought on behalf of George W. Bush in 2000, reminded Americans that over the course of 36 days there were numerous cases at various levels of the state and federal judicial system.

"It took 36 days to resolve and we got an answer. I would expect a similar process to play out here, despite the media trying to tell everyone to 'Give up, go home, we know who we want to win.' That's not how it works. We need to follow the law," he said bluntly.

The Michigan Secretary of State has since said that there was "no merit" to the glitch in Antrim County, that the counting was a "human error" that occurred.

So, did President Trump get the 6,000 votes attributed to him, or were the clerks wrong when they said there was an error?

It’s a she, named Jocelyn Benson.

43 years old, pretty little thing with a Wellesley bachelors and a Harvard law degree. Likes to get her face in a lot of places.

And apparently she’s a good little gangster girl, lets Whitmer and the Union goons kick her around.

It’s a Harvard thing I guess.

Maybe she read 50 shades of grey too many times.

Not to mention a local Republican candidate who initially conceded defeat in a race, only to soon find out afterwards he actually won it when the same sort of “glitch” was discovered and corrected.

Yeah...there’s a submissive thing going on there.

Long as she gets her little prize, she’ll do anything.

*** TRUMP NEEDS TO OFFER PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS ***

For and DemoRats that have clear evidence of organized voter fraud.

Did anyone read the report that there was a spike in Google queries asking “What are the penalties for voter fraud?” in Michigan during the days BEFORE the election?

Some of them were worried about ramifications of doing voter fraud before they did it. Now with the threat of imprisonment, a PARDON would be the best thing for them.

Dems are fundamentally untrustworthy and won’t be loyal to each other, so some are going to be singing like a parrot.

This has only just begun.

University of Michigan computer science professor J. Alex Halderman, a voting machine expert, told the Free Press that “it’s plausibly human error, but if a simple screw-up could cause these problems, that sounds like a technical design flaw.”

Oops, you are correct, but for some reason I always assume a Secretary of state is a male.

It's about 30 years overdue.

One of the positives that can come out of this is to debunk once and for all this notion that there is no cheating out there. We need to stay on each and every one of these issues until it is resolved, regardless of it’s effect or non-effect on the election.

Any "process" must include an iron-clad mechanism to show 1-(legal)person 1-(legal)vote.

The fact that we are dealing with this sh t (yet again) in 2020 is a testament to our ignorance, gullibility and laziness.

Good idea, AlanGreenSpam. Put the fear of God in them.

And think the timing of that will come after the lawsuits are official issued. You’re right. People will sing especially if Trump lays down the consequences.

Benson is part of and funded by a George Soros group called the “Secretary of State Project.”

She is a radical. In my view, she is even worse than Whitmer. Whitmer is mostly about clinging to power. The SOS chick is more about clinging to her disturbed ideology.

I wouldn’t call her pretty. Beak nose and Marty Feldman eyes - especially when she talks.
