True, but they’re about 1% as likely to need hospitalization or ICUs if it’s the common cold, rather than Coronavirus. Like it or not, governments are going to listen to the hospitals, not the people, when it comes to this.

Sweden had their big 6-week spike, never shut down, now down to 1 death per week. You would think that there would be some curiosity expressed from our TV Science/Medical “Experts” but nope. Can’t find Sweden on a map and fully blinkered.

The lockdown didn’t work the first time. So naturally, governments being resistant to ever admit being wrong, they’ve now doubled down.
Meanwhile, the lapdog leftwing press assiduously averts their eyes from the success of Sweden in dealing with the virus by basically carrying on with life as usual and focusing on protecting the vulnerable.
At the time, the same press loudly howled and condemned Sweden for taking such a hands-off approach. Naturally, with the press having been proved wrong, they now won’t cover the story of Sweden’s success.
How is this possible? How is COVID a problem there?

I’ll live anyway I want, but I’m not so sure the survival rate is quite as high as you claim for people in my age bracket. Anyway, I don’t make decisions, so what I think doesn’t matter.
