The problem with these claims is we have no way of knowing whether God really did speak to them.

Trump is in a war. His enemy would love to take him out anyway they can.
Thousands, even millions are praying daily for his safety and success (if you are a believer, you should too).
All those prayers for intercession - why so hard to believe that God listens, and He acts?

CERTAINLY not extra-Biblical. Caution is warranted, but the Bible tells us how to discern.

I tend toward the view that President Trump is a last act of grace toward our country. Our last chance, so to speak. The choice before us is whether to humble ourselves and repent of our wicked ways, or to stiffen our necks.

We know the choice that Israel made back then, and where it eventually ended up leading.

The same choice is before us now, and if we choose ... poorly, the results will be much the same.
