An Air Force jet was scrambled above Donald Trump's rally in Arizona on Wednesday after an unannounced plane flew overhead.
'Oh, look at that! Look, look, look!' the president yelled, pointing to the sky.
The F-16 attempted to make contact, and the aircraft initially ignored the jets.
The fighter plane then released flares, and the intruding aircraft then established radio communications and was escorted out the area.

Ruh roh. That is not something I would want to see while piloting a private aircraft.
He’s got some splainin to do, I watched a guy takeoff from WHP during a TFR, he got 100 miles before they made contact and then he was escorted back and allowed to sit in his plane without moving or getting out until the Feds showed up 2 hours Later.
I live just east of Nashville, very near the path that AF-1 would take from Andrews to Nashville for the debate when I heard an unusually loud jet nearby (I live close to the Lebanon airport). Turns out the F-16 was circling the airport until a small private plane landed and taxied well off the runway.

I would think those/that protective jet would have already up in the air, watching over the area the prez is in!
I was watching when it happened, POTUS did seem concerned at first, I thought it was planned, evidently not. The protection our POTUS receives is uncanny.
Oh - wow - that is not what the President and the crowd were happy about!
I was watching RSBN also - didn’t see the other jet but saw the President pointing to the sky and talking about it - thought it was a “salute” of some kind.....am sure he found out the facts once back on AF1.
I heard him say, don’t worry, it’s one of ours.

Then I got to thinking about it and thought, the POTUS wouldn’t use the military during a campaign speech, he would catch hell for that.

Man was the twitter sewer on fire when that happened. Couldn’t believe the POTUS would use the military in one of his rallies, that’s my taxes paying for his act, etc, etc. blah blah.
Must be miserable to be a modern day liberal.
