I don’t know if Trump or Biden will ultimately win Pennsylvania, but obviously the Washington Post poll today is total garbage. Nobody believes Biden will win Wisconsin by 17 points, not even the junk pollsters that put that laughable number out there today.

If Republicans are leading in EV, and the Dem EV is more “front loaded” this year due to Covid fears, then Republican will crush it on Election Day.

Let’s assume the people Trafalgar is polling don’t know they’re being polled by a right-leaning pollster. I assume they’d still lie about who they’re voting for if they don’t brush the pollster off altogether. Hard to accomodate that statistically.
Back in mid March, when the whole US shut down and no one knew what the hell was going on, and it WAS scary then, a normally gloomy liberal I know was smiling. “This will hurt Trump,” he said.
He was happy and grinning about it, and willing that we all die as long as it hurt Trump.
I think it’s a good poll. We’re at the point however where polling should only be taken as part of the equation as to how a state will go. Polling response rates are so pathetic that it’s very hard to get a good representative sample. Most polls barely try but Trafalgar really does.
We really have to factor in voter registration and enthusiasm as additional factors to a poll. They’re hard to quantify but they really matter.
