LITITZ, Pa. - President Donald Trump embarked Monday on a final-week charge through nearly a dozen states ahead of the election, overlooking a surge of coronavirus cases in the U.S. and a fresh outbreak in his own White House. His Democratic rival, Joe Biden, is holding far fewer events in an effort to demonstrate that he’s taking the worsening pandemic seriously.
The final days of the campaign are crystalizing the starkly different approaches Trump and Biden have taken to address the worst public health crisis in a century - with risks for each candidate.
“It’s a choice between a Trump boom or a Biden lockdown,” Trump claimed Monday in Pennsylvania.
For Trump, the full-speed-ahead strategy could spread the virus in places that are already setting new records and leave him appearing aloof to the consequences. And if Biden comes up short in the election, his lower-key travel schedule will surely come under scrutiny as a bad choice.
Both men are making points with their travel plans. Trump was holding three events in Pennsylvania alone on Monday, suggesting he’s on defense in a state that he won in 2016 and that will be critical to his reelection. Biden, meanwhile, is demonstrating more confidence with signals that he’s hoping to expand his campaign map.
While the final week of the campaign is colliding with deepening concerns about the COVID crisis in far-flung parts of the U.S., Trump is anxious for voters to focus on almost anything else. He’s worried that he will lose if the election becomes a referendum on his handling of the pandemic. Biden, meanwhile, is working to ensure the race is just that, hitting Trump on the virus and presenting himself as a safer, more stable alternative.

So Corrupt Senile Joe had declared a lid on all campaigning till the election, until Trump trolled him saying Hiden Biden was waving the white flag. So the Hiden Biden Campaign reacts and announces a campaign event... in his home state! LOL! The voting results must be so bad they are showing Hiden Biden losing Delaware! Even Mondale carried his home state of MN.
In the olden days news media would report on deaths and people would be cautious based on avoiding dying. Now the news media report on cases. Cases does not equal deaths. Cases doesn’t equal deaths plus symptoms even mild symptoms. Cases is actually a useless number when determining risk.

Funny how the ole China virus has accelerated as we get closer to the election! Not! Everything is planned!
Except Trump is also campaigning in New Hampshire, Maine (he had rallies there just yesterday), Nevada and Minnesota all states that were won by Hilary Clinton. Trump is playing offense here.
I just go my latest edition of “Nature” yesterday. According to the articles and scientific reports in that journal, promising anti-COVID vaccines are being deveioped in months—rather than the years that vaccine development usually takes.
This is no doubt due to Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed”, and is VERY admirable!!!!
Of course, vaccines must complete Phase 3 trials (published in reputable medical journals) and be approved by the FDA as safe and effective, as well as being manufactured in safe and effective ways.
“Nature”—a generally leftist journal—recently endorsed Biden online. However, the published Ocrobee 22 version of the journal lacks any Biden endorsement. Perhaps “Nature” recognizes the great value of Trump’s vaccine programs, and looks forward (as we all do) to the end of the pandemic via mass vaccination!!!!
