We’re planning to go to CA. for Christmas. We’ll visit my son and his family in San Clemente for Christmas Eve and then head north to Ojai to spend Christmas with my daughter and her family. We have 5 grandkids out there an we’re not going to miss seeing them. Thanksgiving is at home with the rest of the grands.

I was just there today (Lake Geneva). Wisconsin is looking good to me. Restaurants are open and no masks. Ten miles south in CrimiIllanois - restaurants shut down again. Stupid MF’ers. Asshole Illinois governor goes to Wisconsin for the weekends - go figure.
Now we are “fighting” the spread. To what end?

I live in Kansas and do not recognize this government employee’s authority over how I celebrate thanksgiving.
Outside of ‘The People’s Republik of Madistan,’ most are ignoring The Guv - though he has us ‘masked’ until November 22nd...and he’ll probably extend that. Most schools are closed until further notice; college campuses are closed.
Madison Proper is in tatters - close to 60 businesses are leaving our downtown/square area that went up in flames this summer.
