Trending: Trump tops Biden, 48% to 47%, with 52% approval rating

As the election season enters its last week, President Trump is on the move, ahead of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Monday’s debut of the daily Rasmussen Reports head-to-head poll.

In its now daily White House Watch, Rasmussen has Trump at 48% and Biden at 47%, the latest sign that the election has tightened in the 11th hour.

What’s more, the pollster Trump prefers to follow and tout has his approval rating at 52%, a key factor to winning reelection. Former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama were both at 50% when they edged out reelection victories.

The poll data showed Trump building an unusual coalition. For example, 27% of black people said they would choose the president if the election were held today. In 2016, he won 8% of the black vote.

Also, Trump is doing better with Republicans than Biden is with Democrats. Rasmussen said that 84% of Republicans would choose Trump, while 77% of Democrats would vote for Biden.

I voted for McGovern and Carter. So maybe there’s hope for your kids.

I didn't vote for Reagan in 1980, but I also didn't vote for Carter. Looking back, it surprised the heck out of me because my family was low-middle class, union, DEM voters. A lot of vitriol toward "rich Republicans".

Being in college was a bit of an eye-opener, although within the 18-29 category, Carter was even or a bit better than Reagan according to the Roper Center at that time. Age 30 and on, Reagan clobbered Carter.

Make no mistake. Most of the Biden votes are leftists who are voting against Trump, not for Biden.

This I understand, I have already voted early for Trump but I can understand not putting up a Trump sign, I can understand being reluctant or even NOT voting for Trump. What I CANNOT understand is why any thinking human would vote FOR Biden. It is so obviously voting FOR evil.

I just saw something in passing on my television which stated that the elderly in AZ are dissatisfied with Trump and favor Biden.

Who says the older one gets, the wiser they become?

I would think the news would be all over the place if Hunter OD’d or died.

What station was that?

Did CA fix their motor voter laws so the millions of illegals with driver’s licenses can’t vote? No one really know I don’t think. They refused to hand voter info to the feds when asked after 2016 where trump got about 33% of the vote in CA. No way he wins there imo but maybe some house seats flip on his coattails, which would be nice.

Rasmussen tracking is now Biden +2.
IBD/TIPP is back down to Biden +4.

“You think LESS than 84% of GOP voters are sticking with Trump? I don’t. Trump received 88% of GOP voters in 2016, according to exit polls. I don’t see that number dropping, certainly to less than 84%.”

My own prediction, based upon 2016 results and Trump’s 4 years of success is that he’ll get at least 90% of the Republicans. He’ll keep all the states he took in 2016 and pick up NH and MN at least.

If he gets even 15% of the African American vote and 50% of the Hispanic, he’ll flip more.

I take YouGov polls all the time and they consistently show 95% of Republicans support Trump.

Many Never Trumpers have come on over to Trump.

I just heard him talking about that in one of his PA rallies yesterday.

He IS telling people they can change their votes.

The irony is that Mondale was probably ten times more fit to be president than Biden, and McGovern was five times more mentally proficient.

They lost in landslides, Biden should by all traditional indicators be utterly annihilated.

He favors the permanent wearing of masks, and endorses a dubious economic program that could bring ruin to millions of people. He seems to be a dupe of China and evidently his family are operating a major graft ring in plain sight.

How this guy could carry any state is beyond fathoming. It shows the dangerous decay of moral and intellectual standards in American cities over the past half century.

Or will history be the guide, and will Trump begin to pull away into a third landslide outcome? He should. He deserves to win all fifty states, in fact one Democrat who just saw the light told me he should really carry all 57.

It gives Socialist Democrat Suburban Women too much credit, but it’s a good ad. ;)

It’s not aimed at the socialist women. It’s aimed at the ones who live among them who “feel” there’s is something not right.
