President Trump holds a three-point lead over Democrat Joe Biden in Florida, a state that’s critical to whether or not the president is reelected.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey of Likely Voters in Florida finds Trump beating Biden 49% to 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Factor in those who haven’t made up their minds yet but are leaning toward one candidate or the other, and Trump gains another point, besting Biden 50% to 46%.
To regain credibility for next time, just 2 weeks from V day the pollsters are making it real.
IMO Pres Trump needs to remind those who already voted they CAN change their votes. The procedures vary from state to state but surely there will be at least a little Creepy Joe remorse
Truth is, he has barely campaigned at all. Almost all his campaigning has been done by surrogates as ads.
The stunners in your list are OR, NM and NJ. All of those are close enough to flip to Trump.

OR and NJ make great sense because of rioting and Covid-19 which showed Democrat incompetence at it’s maximum. The shift is there and Booker is trailing in his race. NM is being driven by increased Latino support and the other two factors I mentioned previously as they are a national sentiment. Trump is like Nixon in 1968 IMHO.

The Biden gaffe/honesty about oil last night was the end of any and all hope.
Even if this “internal” poll looks good, Trump can win in the polls and can lose with voter fraud. That’s my big concern.
Florida’s 29 electoral votes are very important. If we get FL, NC, OH, and PA, it’s over for Biden. We won’t need the other ones.
There are other scenarios to get to 270 but we would then have to win a lot of the other swing states.

If you have a land line and are called by pollster, remember, they can’t hang up on you. Politely say, OK, I’ll answer your questions, but just stepped out of the shower. Can I go put a robe on?
They’ll say, “Of course!”
Put the phone down can come back 45 minutes. If they are still there say, “Ill be right back” repeat until the finally hang up.
Those numbers do seem to also reflect some regional area issues like MN and OR.

I am concerned about it. But if you knew what I know you would not be as concerned about it and from your perspective I empathize. There are measures in place to combat it at several levels.

Fraud matters in close elections.
We have those here in CT in governor’s races. The urban areas refuse to report totals until they know how many Democratic votes are needed. Then they miraculously manufacture the needed 10 to 20 thousand votes in a close race.
There is not going to be six figure fraud in a state—the logistics are just impossible in the real world—and the President will carry all swing states by numbers well into the six figures.
This is looking the Dukakis election—about as big a landslide as is possible in the modern era.
