Our resident electric car boosters will say that a 10 minute charge will go 100 miles. What they don't mention is that we don't have 350 kW sitting around not being used along the highway. People also don't want to stop for 10 minutes every 100 miles.

I feel really deeply that one amazing thing about America is our freedom to drive in our own vehicle wherever we want. This liberates Rural, poor families from being tied to the land, like the serfs. A used car with a full tank of gas is a beautiful thing. They can have my car when they pry the steering wheel from my cold dead hands.
To be fair to Joe, if everyone held his breath for 15 years, we'd have no emissions problem at all.

Lots of renewables like expanding solar and expanding wind. Don't you conservatives know nothing about physics? It's like accounting, you take all the name plate data from all the windmills and you add them up, then you do the same for the solar panels. Add those two together and there's way too much electricity being produced.
Governor Gavin Newson is well on his way to making Kalifornia oil free by 2035. Those recent blackouts only happen a few times a year and Americans will just have to learn to live without electricity to save our planet.

Most people still don’t realize this. They still think it tales millions of years to produce oil and takes ancient stores of carbon from dinosaurs and buried trees. However, it now seems that oil is created much more quickly, and even oil fields once thought drained and spent are seen to be refilling with oil.

Wow, just wow! Joe wants to ban oil. How many Americans would lose their jobs? How would our gas powered vehicles run? Fossil fuels power our electricity. Does Joe think wind farms and solar will be reliable enough to produce the electricity we need? We are energy independent now under President Trump but in the likely event wind and solar do not meet our energy needs Joe wants us to be dependent on other oil producing countries and throw thousands of Americans out of work.
How much more money will Joe and his family get from China, Russia and other oil producing countries? Joe IMO is very greedy and selfish and does not care about America’s middle class citizens.
Little or no electricity in Florida is made from oil. Much of it, however, is made from natural gas and some coal.
Biden claims he wants to get rid of all of it.
In Iowa those giant blades have started falling off those stupid wind turbines. I think they have stopped many if not all of them until they figure out why. Oh, and the company is part of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway. What a sleazeball he is.

However, you'll play hell trying to convince anyone of that. That methane, common throughout the solar system, will combine with water, and under high heat and high pressure, be converted?
That these hydrocarbons, seeping up from the Mantle, are trapped by certain geologic formations, mostly sedimentary, like buried swamps, sand bars, salt domes? That these organics contaminate the petroleum, so that some are high sulfur, some are sweet, some are sour, or even are solids, like coal fields?
That so called "exhausted" wells are slowly refilling? That "Peak Oil" is as stupid a belief as seances and astrology?
