Trump: "Would you close down the oil industry?"
Biden: "I would transition from the oil industry, yes."
Trump: "That's a big statement."
Biden: "That is a big statement."

Who built the cages, Joe?
That was the best line of the night.
Calling him “big guy” was pretty classic, too.
Surface coal mining is also outdoors. A single surface coal miner produces almost 20,000 kWh of electricity with one hour of work. A man installing solar panels can probably put up five pamels in an hour or 1250 kW nameplate. In WV those panels will generate 2,000 kWh the first year.
Which worker is more productive? The coal miner who generates almost 20,000 kWh of electricity in an hour of work? Or the solar panel installer who generates 2,000 kWh in a year? By the end of that year, the solar installer's panels will be generating 400,000 kWh per year and the coal miner will have generated 40,000,000 kWh. Obviously coal mining is much more productive.
Who is going to pay for all those panels? Who is going to pay for the labor while the solar installer is producing next to nothing?
When Trump says 100 trillion, believe him, although that includes our mandatory climate reparations under Paris.
If there is no oil industry, what do we frack?
Hence banning fracking without saying it.
Yes. Trump should bring the screens and go to PA.
Heck, Trump should do a rally in NY and bring the screens.
I would love to see how a naval battle will play out. Launch the fighters! Wait...what?

After debate, before boarding plane home, Biden tries to clean up his statement that he would ‘transition from the oil industry.’ From pool report:
Thanks to Dread Pirate Roberts, SCOTUS ruled PA can keep counting ballots for 3 days after the election...so DNC/CPUSA party can create enough ballots to win steal the election.
If there is no oil how will Joe fly to China on AF1?
This effort, by a toxic union of billionaire rentseekers and totalitarian marxists, to make energy less available, less reliable, and more expensive is at a level of societal insanity comparable to that which overwhelmed the Xhosa in 1856 when the prophetess of doom, Nongqawuse, convinced them that salvation lay in destroying all their cattle and crops. It did not turn out well for them then. It will not turn out well now.
Turning our backs on cheap, plentiful energy from any source is just as bad a move.
That’s leftist speak for killing oil and gas.
Hahaha, you are correct! Do forgive.
I was imbibing heavily while enjoying Trump’s epic debate win, while simultaneously listening to my wife’s complaint that, “I guess we’re gonna have 4 more years of this asshole” as I typed my FReep comments.
What a great Thursday!
That’s what they want.
You will never get more than 3% tops energy from wind and solar.... hell, you cannot generate enough energy from wind and solar to make enough solar panels and windmills.
The fool had no idea he just lost Texas, Pennsylvania, and all other oil states.
I think there were 5 major wins for Trump:
1) Joe putting energy workers out of business and raising gas to $5.00 a gallon doesn’t go well with Suburban moms driving gas guzzling SUV’s.
2) Joe calling Blacks super predators and jailing Blacks may move 5% of the male Black vote to Trump.
3) Trump saying we learn to live with Covid and Bien saying we need to learn to die with Covid, it’s not the Winter that will be dark, it’s Biden being dark.
4) Exposing Biden as corrupt, although the media is purposefully ignoring this, it gets out and puts doubt in people’s minds.
5) Trump exposing Biden as being in charge the past 8 years and accomplishing nothing, all political talk, nothing done - ultimate insider.
6) BONUS - Biden looks weak, can’t verbalize words, hiding in basement, not campaigning - people want an energetic President.
7) Double Bonus - Trump wants an open economy and so do people who have lost jobs or income or their businesses, Biden wants to mandate mask wearing and shutting the economy and schools.
You need a lesson in hydrocarbon generation. It does not come from the mantle.
BINGO!
