CBS This Morning co-host Anthony Mason on Wednesday actually allowed time to the Hunter Biden scandal on Wednesday, even though it was only a scant 1 minute and 19 seconds. Yet, while Mason should be commended for bringing it up to voters, he might not have liked the answers. The journalist made sure to add a misleading disclaimer saying that Joe Biden had been cleared by Senate Republicans. (Not noting that investigation was in September.)
But first, talking to Pennsylvania women on the 2020 race, Mason asked, “The President has been making an issue of the behavior of Joe Biden's son, Hunter. Is that resonating with anyone?” What was that behavior, exactly? He didn’t say, but the women clearly knew about the younger Biden and his sketchy connections to an Ukrainian gas company.
Voter Michelle Fizzano responded:
Absolutely. I'm concerned if Biden got into office that, you know, if something happened with his son or things start coming out, then he's going to defend his son. He's not going to be defending the country.
Cynthia Sabanti worried about Hunter as well as the Trump kids:
Hunter Biden has always been an issue for me quite honestly. His behavior is very questionable. Having said that, I'm as concerned about Hunter Biden as I am about the Trump children.

Whaaat! How can this woman compare the Trump kids with Biden kids? If there has ever been any scandal associated with the Trump kids I am unaware of it.
Republicans are stupid. They should have figured out a way to get the scoop about biden/email/burisma to the public in a way that they couldn’t ignore, and that the media couldn’t sanitize (as they did).
The left ignored it for days, and then all universally agreed to blame it on more Russian interference.
This should not have happened. Don’t let the left define the debate.
I kinda get what she’s saying but I agree that there really isn’t much comparison other then them gaining from the Trump name. As far as nefarious issues, haven’t seen any. And it ain’t like someone isn’t searching far and wide for ANYTHING. A speeding ticket, a B+ on a report card.

Even before the latest revelations from the laptop, Senate Republicans were covering for Biden. As the article states Senate Republicans “cleared” Biden in September despite plenty of circumstantial evidence at the time he facilitated Hunter’s high paid relationships with foreign countries and companies. They didn’t want to dig. Even today, where are the expressions of outrage by Senate Republicans and demands for a special independent prosecutor. After all if an special prosecutor is named now, and Biden wins, the investigation will continue into the next administration.
We are ill served by the GOP Senators we elect.
Are they masked and distanced? Or are there laugh trax.
Put the emails on the Jumbotron that Trump had behind him at recent event(s).

Here we go again. They are making this simply about Hunter Biden’s coke and porn behavior when it is really about Joe Biden’s documented corruption.
This reminds me a tad of “Billygate” but on a much larger level.

Billygate was investigated by the Judiciary committee in 1980 chaired by Ted Kennedy with members that included Joe Biden. The report had a few harsh comments here and there but nothing was done about it. Having said that it seemed less overtly politicized in comparison to today’s Congress.

Joe will bring that up at the debate as nauseam - but the Senate investigating didn't have the emails at the time.
If the Senate was concerned about the truth, they should amend their report.
