Dozens of former intelligence officials signed a public statement Monday expressing doubts about the authenticity of the Hunter Biden emails published by the New York Post.
In the letter, first reported by Politico, more than 50 former intelligence officers said they believed the emails purportedly belonging to Biden, the son of the Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
"We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case," they wrote in the statement.
The former intel officials wrote they believe the arrival of the contents, which they dubbed a "laptop op," to the tabloid was a cause for suspicion, "as the publication of the emails are clearly designed to discredit" the elder Biden.
"Such an operation would be consistent with some of the key methods Russia has used in its now multi-year operation to interfere in our democracy the hacking (via cyber operations) and the dumping of accurate information or the distribution of inaccurate or misinformation," they said.
"It is high time that Russia stops interfering in our democracy," the letter concluded.

The former Trump administration officials who signed the letter include Russ Travers, who served as National Counterterrorism Center acting director; Glenn Gerstell, the former NSA general counsel; Rick Ledgett, the former deputy NSA director; Marc Polymeropoulos, a retired CIA senior operations officer; and Cynthia Strand, who served as the CIAs deputy assistant director for global issues. Former CIA directors or acting directors Brennan, Leon Panetta, Gen. Michael Hayden, John McLaughlin and Michael Morell also signed the letter, along with more than three dozen other intelligence veterans. Several of the former officials on the list have endorsed Biden.
All deep state traitors who will die for their Chinese collusion!
So I guess we know where the Deep State stands on the issue.
We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement...

Thin legal cover being whitewashed on their lie.
Wow traitors every one without exception.
Essentially an admission that they are very very bad at being investigators.
Notice that they dont seem to be denying the truth of the content...
Yet we have not heard a single peep from the Biden’s themselves challenging the authenticity of the emails. Matter of fact, the Biden campaign spokesman said that no one had denied the authenticity.
Don’t these lamebrains even consider that little fact?
Of old age.
Oh, another letter signed by multiple bureaucrats. I wonder if half of these will be applying for positions in the 2nd DJT admin?
A made-up cover story had to pop up from some rock, right?
It is snowy and cold in Calgsry, and has been for most of the week. I have no proof or evidence, but the weather has all the signs of Rove’s blasted weather machine!

This folks, is what we call, PANIC.
Of lead poisoning with extreme prejudice!!
Does Business Stuff (BS) ever have any valid investment advice?
There is NO EVIDENCE of Russian involvement.
These are the same people that gave us three years if Russia, Russua, Russia.
This will also provide cover for Biden, as he can recite this ad nausum.
Investigate the signatories for their crimes. They protest too much.
Just a couple of items of note:
1. Notice that they did NOT say this a "Russian disinformation operation." A Russian "information operation" is no different than what you see, read and hear in any media outlet every day of your life.
2. This one line is comical: "Such an operation would be consistent with some of the key methods Russia has used in its now multi-year operation to interfere in our democracy -- the hacking (via cyber operations) and the dumping of accurate information or the distribution of inaccurate or misinformation," they said. So telling the truth about criminal conduct is now "interfering in our democracy?" LMAO.
“It is high time that Russia stops interfering in our democracy,” the officials wrote.”
It’s time for traitors who collude with China be crushed out of existence!
