The CDC and the World Health Organization stopped trying to count all the actual cases months ago, once it became clear that H1N1 was a pandemic that would infect millions.
WHO's count of lab-confirmed cases showed that at least 15,292 people had died in 212 countries and territories.
But WHO and the CDC note there are nowhere near enough diagnostic tests to give to everyone with flu-like symptoms to see if they really have swine flu.
The CDC therefore does its estimates based on models, calculated by looking intensively at small groups of people, gathering data on overall reports of sickness and death, and reconciling the two.
That is also how the CDC comes up with its annual estimates for seasonal flu, and experts agree these estimates are far more accurate than counting confirmed cases.

Most people don’t understand how much they are manipulated.
H1N1 would have been the biggest crisis in world history, if “they” had wanted it to be. But they didn’t want that. So it wasn’t.
COVID-19 is the biggest crisis in world history. Because “they” wanted it to be.
They tell people stuff — Jedi mind tricks — and people believe it.
I ended up in the ER and flatlined with the flu. I think it was 2011,2012( forgettable). After I regained consciousness the nurses told me I have H1N1...no masks, no precautions, no ventilator...just a so long, see ya later. Didn’t even remember until they locked down the country with the wooohan
Many don’t believe it.
But what are they to do?
We won’t be the ones paying business owners’ fines.
We can only vote in as many sane people as possible.
Though there aren’t that many left :)
I WOULD have been a patron of any restaurants that had opened against the law (insane!) but i would have not been fined thousands. They would have.
Poor people.
If H1N1 infected more Americans than CoVid-19, how come only 17,000 died compared to 210,000 for COVID-19 today?
Is there a journalist left that will ask these questions?
They simply stopped counting. They really have no idea. There’s another article with interviews that attest to this I’m trying to find again.
Ask bammy/biden/fauci a serious question.....come on, man! :)
The true numbers are still expressed within excess mortality. You may not have a fully accurate cause of death for every individual who dies, but you certainly know how many people have died.
And most people hate who they're told to hate.
1. They quit counting in 2010
2. They keep counting with scant and/or skimpy evidence as well making the most obtuse definitions of who has Faux Xi flu and creating outright fraudulent definitions of Faux Xi flu deaths...
Day after day in our upstate county....not hospitalizations and no deaths....in a county of more than 700,000.
Later
probably because there was little to no testing done....so you died from Pneumonia etc etc
Because they stopped counting and testing! That’s why.
We have such short memories of events.
