Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the Democrat nominee for Vice President, wrote in an op-ed published by the Deseret News on Sunday, that her running mate, former Vice President Joe Biden, would “restore” values in public life and that President Donald Trump’s “callousness and cruelty” would end.
“Are we, as a nation, living our values when we separate babies from their mothers? When we desecrate the planet God has entrusted to us? When in the wealthiest country in the world, we allow millions of children to go hungry?” Harris wrote.
Harris arrived Monday in Salt Lake City, Utah, for Wednesday’s vice presidential debate ,where she will face off against Vice President Mike Pence. The op-ed seems to be a pitch to Mormon voters not just in Utah, but in swing states like Arizona and Nevada, which both boast sizable Mormon populations.

I lived among many Mormons in NM and traveled through AZ regularly for years. They can be really weird, they are very clanish, they are not “leftist”, they are generally focused on their families. They will put up with the globalist crap as long as their Bishop “Romney” is talking.
Kamala Harris has zero chance of winning the Mormon vote.
There was a time when I was Republican County Chairman in a county in Western New Mexico. There were 5 Dems per 1 Republican, but we managed to help elect many U.S. Representatives and Senators. On the local elections, I could always count on 2 elements in turning out in mass; The local John Bircher’s and the Mormons. The Mormon’s had one of their own on the ballot for Governor once, It was like a moving train blaring loudly running full speed, they took over the local election that year. After that, they simply came and voted.
