EVERY jurisdiction had specific chip-sets.

Most jurisdictions allowed me to carry a ‘master reset’ chip in their jurisdiction. A few did NOT!

I ALWAYS took care NOT to carry an illegal chip into a jurisdiction...

I was fingerprinted 14 times a year, most of the time I HAD to do it physically in the particular state/reservation.
