Former Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Marc Racicot said this week that he would that he will not vote for President Trump in November.
I regret that I will cause consternation perhaps in some corners, but even as a Republican, I will not be supporting Donald Trump for president, and I will not be voting for him, Racicot, who is also a former Republican governor of Montana, said during a Tuesday interview on Yellowstone Public Radio. That means I will be voting for Joe Biden for president.
Racicot did not provide details about why he was choosing to endorse the Democratic presidential nominee, according to the Missoulian newspaper.
Im not going to march lockstep with him every step of the way or with the administration. Ill have disagreements, Im certain, Racicot said of Biden. But the content of a mans character or a womans character to serve in that capacity is more important than any other issue that I have to consider as a matter of conscience.
The former governor, who previously served as the chairman of former President George W. Bushs reelection campaign, said the presidency this year has threatened the American way of life.

Worth recalling that Dukakis lost in 1988 with 44% of the popular vote while Clinton won in 1992 with a 43% plurality.
But Perot accomplished his mission to derail GHWB.
So we got eight years of the Clintons. Third party candidates benefit one big party or the other. In 1980 John Anderson siphoned votes from Jimmah Carter, adding to Ronald Reagan’s victory.
Oh look, another traitor. MT hasn’t had a GOP Governor since his incompetent LT Judy Martz (that will change this election). He repeatedly declined to help the party by running for the Senate.
I once heard him called “a solid Reganite”.
“Reganite” must be the scientific name for the feces of suburban wine moms.
I'm disappointed he's doing this! Always liked the guy. All the way back in high school.
Former campaign manager for Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign, the record says.
Depends on who “Regan” is. One of the bad sisters in “King Lear”?
In Montana? So Biden gets 1000 votes instead of 999. Pfffft!
Well here’s some similar good news.
A friend of mine dropped by today and he brought up Pres Trump. He said “ There’s a lot I don’t like about Trump but I’m voting for him because he stands behind law and order and he stands behind the military .” My ears were pleasantly shocked. He’s a lifelong liberal democrat , generally very uninterested in politics and this is Bernies home state
Uhh, Don Regan? LOL.
I’m guessing the guy votes in Montana, which has a population of just over 1 million people. the 1000 vs. 999 was a joke, but I’d guess Trump will win Montana in the ballpark of 60-40 and I doubt he’ll have much influence. The overall presidential race will be much closer than that.
I remember him. Always thought it funny that Ronald Reagan had someone called Donald Regan as his Secretary of the Treasury.
You left out the illegals and dead voters, never mind fraudulent and unsigned.
I did, didn’t I? Sorry about that. They completely slipped my mind. Thanks for reminding and correcting me.
That's Deep State code for the Deep-State elite way of life where the peasants pay their taxes and do as their told in return for being taken care of by their bettors.
Hmmm...I wonder...dead girl or live boy...hmmmm...
Marc Roscoe.
Marc spelled Marc is usually a bad sign. And that abortion of a Scrabble game last name of his? I corrected it.
And my message to him: https://youtu.be/AS669AzO8bw
Says more about the crooks, idiots and traitors that have run the RNC than it does about Trump or Biden.
No wonder GWB was so out of touch with the GOP base with they huge list of DNC infiltrators working for him.
Not necessarily either (or even both).
