Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) this evening announced that the hearing to consider the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to serve as an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States will begin October 12, 2020.
The hearing will last three to four days, using the format the committee has followed for recent Supreme Court nominees. Opening statements by Judiciary Committee members and the nominee will occur on Monday, October 12. The questioning of Judge Barrett will begin on Tuesday, October 13. Testimony by those who know Judge Barrett the best and legal experts is expected to follow.

Monday, 1 day, vote. Graham’s is just for extending this circus longer than 8 hours. He is all talk no cattle.
I would end the hearings on October 16 and have the vote on October 17th. That way the Dems can have their hissy fits all the way to November 3rd. By then, America will be sick of them to the max.
I so agree. But it will be the very first time Graham or any Senate Rep has been wise enough to set a trap for the dems, ever. So, Im quite sure Graham won’t do it.

Im. A lawyer, but not a supreme court expert. It seems to me that judges recruise over conflicts of interest, like having participated in a case prior to its reaching the high court. No conflict exists in being nominated by one of the litigants. They all were at some point. And Bush and Obama have been litigants.
How can anyone think that displaying the democrat’s horrible anti-American behavior will cost the democrats anything? They’ve been doing the personal destruction gig for 30 years and they still manage to get +40% of the population to vote for them.

I cannot imagine that the horrific optics of live televised shredding of this highly accomplished and superb judge will stop the fecal, pedophile, slave trading democrats from the nightmare they are going to subject us to.
I only hope the voters deliver justice at the ballot box at the same magnitude the guillotine did in revolutionary France.
