Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) this evening announced that the hearing to consider the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to serve as an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States will begin October 12, 2020.
The hearing will last three to four days, using the format the committee has followed for recent Supreme Court nominees. Opening statements by Judiciary Committee members and the nominee will occur on Monday, October 12. The questioning of Judge Barrett will begin on Tuesday, October 13. Testimony by those who know Judge Barrett the best and legal experts is expected to follow.

Columbus Day. Nice. :)
Flimsey Grahamnesty is giving the Democrats too much time to gin up smears.
The hearings should have been next week.
WHY???
WHY???
Why have a hearing? JUST VOTE!
Beautiful family!
Democrats are gonna die big time on this hill.
I dont know enough about all the potential maneuvers, but why invite trouble? Or take chances
They are cutting it close, and the Dem game will be to find something to cause a delay. The margin for error is razor thin.
Don’t stop your enemy when it’s walking itself towards ruination....;)
Have at democrat smear machine
I guess even Graham can become sufficiently pissed off to remember that he has cojones. About the only good thing to come out of the Kavanaugh hearings (aside from his confirmation, of course).
Beautiful family!
Agreed!
It’s Graham. He’s going to allow the DEMs to cripple Barrett during the confirmation process.
Start Monday, Linda.
No hearing is necessary—just vote yes or no!!!
Beautiful, wholesome family.
If the Dems start playing games Turtle can just simply STOP the hearings and vote NOTHING in the constitution says anything about hearings!! Amy just recently went through hearings anyway DONE!!
I would ordinarily support committee hearings but this nominee was just vetted a couple years ago. Doesnt need to be repeated. Let the nomination be taken up directly and votes by the senate. We need this vacancy filled in light of the Ds intensive and wide- ranging election fraud campaign
Two weeks hence...

Surely they can do better than that.
