They are cutting it close, and the Dem game will be to find something to cause a delay
Yes Its just excruciating. Dont these fools realize the rats have one Goal, to delay the vote past the election. Cutting this close makes it easy.
Judge Barrett’s family....
God bless them all.
May He protect them from the onslaught of slander and lies about to come their way from the Dems and Dem media.
They didn’t do anything to deserve the Kavanaugh treatment.
The only rationale I can muster for a two week delay and four days of hearings is more rope for the Dems.
I will watch it, especially when those democrats senators talks, especially when Kamala talks
True. Like the General Eisenhower decision dates for D-Day with bad weather or worse weather or give it all up and possibly prolong or even lose the war.
Don't cut it so close.
Idiots they are going to screw around and give the rats the means to push the vote past Election Day which probably kill whatever Chance Trump has.
I normally wouldnt trust Graham as he is anti-Trump and depends on the media and zero accountability to shield him; however, he has nowhere to hide here.
The Media doesnt have to report it, if he fails here, hes caught.
So, I think Graham understands he has to go forward and get it done.
.
I actually can see the value of having it later rather than sooner. The closer it is to the November election, the more the Democrats in the hearings (especially those facing re-election —or in Harris’s case, election) risk looking mean and nasty to the voters if they try to act like they did during the Kavanaugh hearings. It will still be fresh in everyone’s mind November 3rd.
Political trick is that given kanavanugh hearing costed 3 democrats senate seats, Barrett hearing will likely benefit Trump re election. There is no risk doing it to Trump and GOP. But democrats are put on very thin ice
The press release says she’s a native of South Bend, Indiana. She went to school there and lives there, but she’s a native of Metairie, Louisiana.
“Trust Leader McConnell’s Plan”, to paraphrase another popular saying....
Ska-rew the hearings.
Call the vote.
Better yet...just “deem” her confirmed.
Helluva price to pay, but it was the Kavanaugh hearings that let the Republicans hold the majority in the Senate. They were not supposed to until those hearings. Several Rs who were supposed to lose ended up winning because people were so turned off by the Ds, and it looks like they will do it to themselves again. Pity that!
A hearing in two weeks? Well this was fun while it lasted.
Day 1: We can have lots of fun
Day 2: Day 1 of questioning
Day 3: Day 2 of questioning
Day 4: Outside witnesses
Lindsey Graham tonight: If they treat Judge Barrett like they did Justice Kavanaugh it’s going to blow up in their face...Kavanaugh did help the Republicans pick up Senate seats because they went too far.
People are working.
The Media isnt going to play clips casting the Dems in a bad light.
Will hearings change a single senators mind? Or is it all just proforma?
Rush discussed last week. The thought process among Republicans is to give the dems plenty of time to make complete asses of themselves as they did with Kavanaugh where the pubbies subsequently picked up two Senate seats.
Rush disagreed with this. His position is why put the woman through hell when you have the votes? But, Politics always wins in The Swamp.
The Republicans hold the cards.
So, they could react to shenanigans from the hateful people.
