Several of my friends are millennials (I am 61), they have families, houses and jobs. They work very hard and do not expect handouts of any sort. Their parents, like those from many generations, are willing to help them out if need be.
They do not, however, adhere to one political viewpoint and are willing to see gray where I see black and white.
In America, machines already do most of the work, generate most of the wealth, and pay most of the taxes. That trend is accelerating. The real question is what will the left side of the bell curve do? They won't be picking lettuce.
The boomers stole everything from everyone. The WORLD is broke because of the boomers. There are trillions upon trillions in unfunded liabilities and outright debt. They brought in the third world to our nations and put them on welfare in exchange for our standards of living. They have brought us a progressive socialist government that is destroying prosperity and creating generations of snowflakes.
It is a huge fraud perpetrated by Hillary's generation against the millenials.
Solely built by boomer overspending.
And universities are a product of boomers.
I’m first year Gen X. My kids are millennials. My oldest has 2 kids in Catholic schools. He works his ass off to provide for his family. My youngest is a trad-wife who is homeschooling her 2 kids. She works her ass off providing a loving home for her husband and children. My middle child died 4 years ago leaving behind a son of his own. He was building up a home remodeling business. Not all millennials are a lost cause just as boomers aren’t all former acid freak, DeadHeads. By the way, I can think of many words to describe A Clockwork Orange and beautiful ain’t one of them.
I have paid into social security for 40 years and am still paying. When I go get my benefits I will pay confiscatory tax rates on them. If I live to be 120 I would not get out the $ I would have had if I had invested that money privately like the rest of my retirement savings. Please tell me how Omam stealing from anyone?
Yeah, never mind the following generations who want to vote for “Free Everything!” from Uncle Sugar.

fooled enough covetous morons to vote them into office on the promise of giving them their fellow citizens money while calling it The New Deal.
Then us conservatives started our decades long complaint of the commies stealing our
descendants wealth and future by pushing the debt onto folks not yet born who had no vote in the matter

kept spending money they didn’t have for decades, and taught their lil commie offspring to keep voting fellow commies, socialists and democrats into office to keep the generational theft going for decades,,,

Unfortunately, it was not just liberal and lefty boomers. It was Presidents and a Congress who cannot say “No.” They are like bad parents. Which is why there should be an amendment to the Constitution that the Federal government cannot borrow money and can only collect 10% (or whatever) of people’s gross adjusted income. Only deduction? Charity. Nothing else.
They should be more angry about how we taught them to hate civilization. Middle-class welfare and women abandoning their children; I don’t blame them for being pissed off.

My two millennials have done OK as well. One is a pastor married with 2 children and my daughter has finished med school and is in residency. DH and I worked our butts off and paid for their undergrad and my sons seminary without any student loans. My daughter that was not possible as med school is 80k/yr now but we paid her living expenses and helped keep her debt as low as possible. they are solid members of society and working hard. DH and I are now raising our 7 year old daughter and caring for his 94 year old father all on our dime. Please tell me again how I am stealing from future generations
Millennials have been spoiled by the wealth of Boomers.
And themselves haven’t generally created or earned enough wealth for the Boomers to steal from them.
You need to put the blame where it belongs. That would be the U.S. Government...more specifically Democrats and limp wristed Republicans.
