He immediately cited how the Democrats acted toward Kavanaugh when he said he’d vote to confirm Trump’s nominee this year. I think he wasn’t acting for the cameras there and was genuinely pissed.
I would guess he’ll be even more pissed this time, after Biden’s riot mobs show up at his house.

If you listen to him now he’s showing the same intensity about getting the new pick confirmed. I think he’s counting on firing up his base with a Kavanaugh type performance this time. Lindsey is definitely feeling the heat in his re-election.
I imagine as a senator he would have access to the federal law enforcement since this is a federal crime to prevent the discharge of constitutional duties.

I suspect Lindsey is not a happy camper about thugs protesting outside his front door. I suspect he’s seething mad, and I also suspect this may bring another rant equal to the one posted here of him at the Kavanaugh hearing if the Dems step outside of the bounds of decency at the hearing for this new SCOTUS opening. And you know the Dems will do just that. So expect another Lindsey verbal attack against the Dems again, and the fact is, Lindsey is very good with words. Words are his stiletto.
I hear S. Carolina is in the bible belt and the opportunity to put a conservative on the court will win or lose this for Lindsey. Meaning, he better rest up an get this done and a vote before the election or religious conservatives will not support him on election day.
Then Senate Majority Leader Schumer will send them all a Thank You Note.

I'm just being a realist, in close races issues matter and some people focus on just a few issues. This pick's importance in my view is more important than some people might believe. My personal view is that getting a Conservative woman on the court changes the dynamic of this election significantly. Again, just my personal feeling but it's an issue than can move polls/actual votes 1-5% depending on the locale. I think Collins is going to lose this year because she is not differentiating herself, running as a moderate against a moderate will insure her loss.
