Amy Barrett — Immediately, If Not Sooner

President Trump has the right nominee at the right moment in American history.

When Ruth Bader Ginsburg died Friday evening, she did so with a message for posterity which, for all the history that Ginsburg might have made as a woman on the Supreme Court, was pristine in its self-description of her time on the Court.

“My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed,” she said.

The arrogance of that was par for Ginsburg’s course.

The fact that Republican women haven’t been represented on the Supreme Court since Sandra Day O’Connor rankles a bit; you’ve got to offer big parts of your base role models when you can.

Yes, yes, Ruth Bader Ginsburg lived an interesting life, and yes, yes, she was an accomplished woman. Those things are beside the point. It is neither ghoulish nor inappropriate to look to the future of the United States Supreme Court upon her death rather than pay tribute to the life she lived. After all, that life was for all practical purposes long since over months ago, when Ginsburg chose to spend her time on death’s door occupying space on the Supreme Court in an effort to outlast President Trump. And Ginsburg practically begged us to engage in nominatorial exegesis upon her death with the unfortunate quote referenced above.

That her gambit failed, despite practically every responsible pundit and political voice in the country either whispering or shouting the lack of wisdom involved in Ginsburg persisting on the court long after she should have recognized her failing health and retired, is not the fault or responsibility of President Trump.

She was 87 years old, for crying out loud. Were Trump to be re-elected, did she honestly expect to linger on the Supreme Court until

RBG was an embarrassment to the judiciary ( and to herself). She needs to be replaced by a fair and constitutional justice ASAP!

Where is the VIDEO? I’m NOT buying it unless I see the video and THEN I won’t give a shite.

She should have retired five years ago … then Obama would have had the opportunity to replace her … she didn't because she was confident Hillary would win.
Didn't work … schadenfreude X 10 !!!

Trouble is, both Collins and Murkowski are less-than-ethusiastic about Barrett ... plus she has to be approved by the Judiciary committee, where Republicans have only a 1-vote majority ... plus count on the traitorous Mitt Romney to pull his usual sabotage tricks ...

PLUS Big Media’s non-stop screaming to stop the nomination will have a big intimidating effect on the weak-willed RINOs ...

there’s gonna have to be a lot of back-room arm-twisting to get this to work!!

Projected by her supporters. Probably never said. But, hey, why waste an opportunity!

**************

Epic miscalculation on her part, which calls into question not only her wisdom but also her willingness to accept reality.

It appears that she saw herself as being indispensable.

“My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed,”

What a soul-less atheistic thing to go to the grave with.

Amy Barrett — Immediately, If Not Sooner

Ginsberg's arrogance dictating when she be replaced suits her wicked character. She's consistent if anything. She will be praised by this world's players but then again so were Caiphas, Pilate, Nero, Stalin, Mao, Fidel.... The world loves its wicked own.

If democrat Kelly wins the Arizona Senate race, he could be sworn in as early as November 30th. If he wins, hypothetically, that would narrow the Republicans’ 53-to-47 in the Senate. We've already heard some RINO Senators say they will not vote for replacement until after the election.

McConnell, to his credit, said there will be a vote on the Senate floor but the questions I ask are: when and will there be enough R votes?

I REALLY want Amy on the SC, but I think the Left will not let it happen this year, they will drag the hearings out. I’d be happy with Ted Cruz getting walked through...I doubt even slimeball Mittens could withhold his vote. Cruz, IMHO, would be the easiest to get in this year. Amy when the large, Leftist hag in bad health goes. And, no, I don’t wish the large, Leftist hag ill health, just what is reality.

If the shoe were on the other foot, the Dems would push their nominee through and the press would have no problem with it.

This is a tacit admission that she would twist and stretch destroy the law and Constitution to get Biden elected.

Is this a special AZ law...early swearing in??

Mitch’s apparent willingness to move forward may indicate that he has some degree of confidence in the vote. I could be wrong about that, but its hard to see how he would commit to doing it in the absence of having made some prior political arrangements.
