Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's predecessor Hillary Clinton was better placed than him in polls for Pennsylvania and Michigan—two states she narrowly lost to President Donald Trump in 2016—at the same point in her campaign
While Clinton won the popular vote, she lost in the Electoral College with narrow defeats in states which had previously voted Democrat contributing to this defeat.
In Michigan, she lost by little more than 10,000 votes, around 0.3 percent of those cast, while in Pennsylvania, Trump secured around 44,000 more votes than her, around 0.7 percent of the state's total ballots, according to New York Times' tracking of election data

Did you they factor in the mail-in vote fraud?
The polls in 2016 were cooked, just not as cooked as 2020's have been and still are.
Voter fraud is the only reason why Biden would win PA. As much as we hated Hillary, she was in better shape in 2016 than Biden is in 2020, and it shouldn’t even be close.
The Democrat strategists have been studying their previous loss. Instead of finding an electable candidate they have chosen to cheat in this election in ways enabled by the manufactured Covid crisis that they could never have gotten away with before. President Trump is going to need to win in a landslide or they will steal this election. Even if he wins in a landslide they are still going to drag this out for months.
this is true... but deceptive.
While it is true that Hillary was further ahead... her numbers were LOWER.
Let me give you a completely made up example:
Hillary 45 Trump 39
Biden 50 Trump 47
Technically Trump is outperforming his 2016 numbers (in this example) ie. polling 8 point higher, and only behind Biden by 3 vs behind 6 from Hillary.
BUT, Biden is at 50!!!!!!!!! 50.00000001 and you win! get it? Biden has been polling MUCH higher than Hillary ever did, and much of it above 50.
I am not saying Trump can’t win, but he needs a knockout at the debates or something big to move the numbers for Biden DOWN.
Do they not teach journalists basic grammar any more? “while in Pennsylvania, Trump secured around 44,000 more votes than her” - should be “than she”. You wouldn’t say “more than her did”, it is “more than she did”.
As I said, there IS NO SLOBBERING LOVE AFFAIR between Pennsylvanians and Joe Biden. Can we finally put that myth to rest?
If there was one it was back in the 80’s when he was managing to fool a bunch of union guys in mills and mines. For the most part those voters aren’t around anymore.
Actually, with no proof, I think Bidon was a foil to stop Bernie. Kamala is who the leadership wanted all along even of the voters did not.

A big part of the money that Michael Bloomberg is putting into the Harris/Biden campaign is not for publicity or any direct pre-election assistance, but for the armies of lawyers that are going to be hired to contest EVERY state outcome in which the Harris/Biden ticket is even remotely within striking distance with enough recounts of the vote.
Worked in Minnesota when Al Franken was elected to the Senate.
the other factor is voter commitment. in 2016 democratic voters expected an easy hillary win so it wasn’t as big a deal for individual voters get around to voting, some years things don’t work out scheduling wise for some voters and they don’t get around to voting. this year they will have a higher determination to get their vote in, and fewer voters will miss getting around to it. so i expect a higher turnout.

Any numbers out of Philly and Pittsburg will throw the overall states numbers........rural Pa truly needs to roll out big time in this election.
Both of those cities are thick in Demo-rat political dung. Visiting there is like going to another planet!
