U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders has privately voiced worries about the way Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has been campaigning as the race heads into its final weeks, according to a report.
Sanders, who dropped out of the race in April and immediately endorsed Biden following a hard-fought Democratic primary battle last spring, has said he wishes Biden would focus more on kitchen table issues like higher wages, job growth and health care access in campaign stops rather than criticizing President Trump, the Washington Post reported, citing three sources familiar with his conversations. [ ]
The independent senator from Vermont also believes Bidens centrist rather than progressive approach could lead to another Democratic loss, the sources said. Still, some of Bidens policies have undoubtedly moved farther to the left as the Democratic Party continues to become more progressive. [ ]
Senator Sanders is confident that Joe Biden is in a very strong position to win this election, but nevertheless feels there are areas the campaign can continue to improve upon, Sanders former campaign manager Faiz Shakir said in a statement to the Post. He has been in direct contact with the Biden team and has urged them to put more emphasis on how they will raise wages, create millions of good-paying jobs, lower the cost of prescription drugs and expand health care coverage.

Memo:

You lost
Blame game begins!
The aardvark speaks.
I like how President Trump started referring to the mail ballots as unsolicited ballots. No signature or nothing required. If those are allowed to be counted , that would be the only way Biden wins. Must get those all tossed. Such a disgrace they would ouch that type of voting when so many have given so much to make sure this country made it this far.
I confirm this, because I also read that report about the anonymous sources
We need a president who can reduce unemployment from 14.7% to 8.4% in only 4 months. Oh, wait, we already have one who did that.
Sanders should be worried about Biden campaign events in empty parking lots.
As I said in a previous post. This is an Alinsky play. He is saying to push the moderate Joe Narrative. MSM will broadcast this to re-assure suburban fence sitters especially women and its a lie. FNC is right there with them.
Job growth? The only thing I remember the Democrats talking about jobs is the "Green New Deal", which would kill jobs left and right, back to an Obama economy at best.
And artificial wage hikes don't work. Support $15/hour? Why not $50/hour.
And if you're in need of medical care you'll get it.
Actually the minimum wage should be raised. It is a hot issue and the R’s would do well to take it off the table with their own proposal to raise the minimum wage..
Trump has already done or is doing all the things Bernie wants Joe to claim he would do
In my neck of the woods not a major metro area with a high cost of living I see warehouse jobs posted for up to $21/hour. Raising the minimum wage is a great political move because it is totally useless and ineffective.
Bidens centrist approach, what the heck is he talking about?
Oh Bernie, Biden is criticizing Trump because that is what his likely voters want. Most of them don’t like Biden personally, or his stand on the issues; they will vote for him because they hate Trump.
The problem for Sanders is the leadership of the Democrat party are going to say that it was the Bernie wing that led to Bidens horrible performance. They will be the sacrificial lambs. Then the standard DemsNewsome and Cuomo can run next time.
