Sorry I disappeared last night. D*** Comcast went out again and stayed off the rest of the night. A long boring night with no ‘net or TV.

Glad you finally got some rain last night, luvie. Took long enough to get there, didn’t it?

Cooler weather for you too. YAY! Bet Gizmo gave you a run for the money today. Cool temps bring out the spunk in pooches. LOL

I knew it wasn’t like you to just disappear for so long, Stupid Comcast! They need to get their act together.

I haven’t wanted to take a nap today, since I have to be prepared to get up at about 6:15am in the morning, but man! I am soooo sleepy. LOL!

Would you believe it’s colder here right now than it is in JH? LOL! And I thought I’d be looking forward to cooler weather, not having it before hand. It’s 52 right now. How are things there?

They’ve behaved fairly well for a while, though TV has been a little squirrelly occasionally. But it all went off last night. Frustrating. Aggravating. GRRRRRRR!

Wow! 52 degrees? That’s a heck of a cool-down. Funny that it’s warmer at JH.

Bet you’re about to turn inside out with excitement at this point. You finally get to see the gang! Bet the girls are excited too.

I am excited, and am pretty sure hubby is though he doesn’t show it like I do. I’m pretty sure the girls are getting excited. It doesn’t take much for them. LOL!

Good luck getting any sleep tonight. LOL! How many times have you packed and re-packed so far? :-)

Oh, gosh. My suitcase looks pregnant. LOL! But I don’t think I’ve forgotten anything. Of course, if I did, I’ll remember it in Denver.

I’m going to shoot for going to sleep at midnight. I’ll take a melatonin...and hope it works. I now have to remember to set the alarm for 6:15am. Gad!

Hey, you’re not supposed to over-pack to go up there. You have to leave room for anything you might pick up while you’re there. LOL

I hope your trip up there is uneventful.

I don’t usually buy stuff up there. Well, a couple of t-shirts and a pendant, but shopping is such a hassle now, I’d rather not bother. I imagine if we do get out, it will be to drive somewhere to see something pretty or to eat at one of their favorite restaurants.

As long as you’re good about not buying a lot of stuff, you won’t need a lot of extra room in your suitcase for the trip home.

When Bentfeather came down to spend a week with us several years ago, she had to pay an extra fee for her overweight luggage when she left. Little restraint in shopping. LOL But she had fun and so did we.

I hope you get a chance to go somewhere to see something pretty. You always get some neat pix to post when you do.

Well, when we went to Maine, we picked up some things, but I’ve kind of gotten over shopping.

I will take as many pictures as possible. I HOPE I don’t get snow pictures. LOL!

Whacky as the weather has been lately, you just MIGHT get a snow pic or two while you’re up there. LOL I hope not though. It’s more fun to get out and about without having to bundle up in layers.

Yes, but I am taking layers just in case. I have sweaters, a cardigan and a coat, gloves and scarf. Just in case.

I guess I’d better start getting ready for the pillows. Heaven knows if I’ll actually sleep. LOL! And I don’t sleep on planes.

Taking layers is a must when heading north this time of year. Better safe than sorry.

Get as much sleep as you can. Have safe trip!

I woke up early, but I went ahead and got up so at least I’m not starting the trip dead headed. I hate when the alarm goes off. LOL!
