Are you watching the stream? Those fires in Oregon are VERY dangerous. I keep hoping they’ll settle so I can watch something else. :)

It must be a huge relief to have the heat wave break at last. Some of the temps that have been reported have been mind-blowing. My step-brother is glad he left L.A. for TN last year but my step-sister is still out there.

Y’all certainly have had a rough summer, no doubt.
It’s been pretty toasty here but not unusually so. It just seemed like it because it was so muggy and that made it very uncomfortable outside.

Maybe it won’t get as hot there after this cold snap moves out. I know y’all are ready for a break.

Yes, I’ve had the stream up since I sat down at the computer but I’m 2 1/2 hours behind you. I started at the beginning and this isn’t one to skip through to get caught up to real time.
What a nightmare that fire is.

Looks like we have a fair number of them here....and I wouldn’t think of Perseus as “weak”, either.

Amazing how we Canteeners are like a star cluster!

We do seem to agree a lot of the time. :)

It’s been a long stream. It started when I was still napping. I missed nearly a full first hour. They are spreading so fast!

I’m glad you joined us, but do get your rest! I don’t think any of us are sleeping well this year. The sky might really fall...2020, ya know. LOL!

It’s FINALLY raining! A nice, slow, cool, soaking, refreshing rain. I went out to move the cat food to next to the house where it’s dry, and they all came out of the various hidey holes. I’m pleased that I got them ready on time!

Now if the fires would just go away. I might sneak out for a bit to watch something else. Thing is, there aren’t many of us tonight modding.

It feels a little cooler this morning. We did have some rain and thunder. Giz hid under the bed last evening. Thankfully no power outages here at the house but it was a little nerve wrecking. Some parts of town did lose power though for a time last evening.

We finally got your thunder and rain tonight. Much needed rain. The thunder doesn't seem to faze these cats, but the high wind nearly drove them nuts. They kept trying to run from it. LOL!
