Protests erupted in Rochester Wednesday following the release of police body-cam video of a black man who reportedly suffocated after cops put a “spit hood” over his head during his arrest — as his family called for the officers involved to be charged with murder, according to reports.
Nine people were arrested after protesting the death of Daniel Prude, 41, the Democrat & Chronicle reported.
The protests began small at the Monroe County Public Safety Building but grew larger throughout the day before police fired pepper spray and tear gas into a crowd outside police headquarters, according to NPR.

I’ve said for over a decade that if the MSM wanted us out of our cars, all they would have to do is breathlessly report the traffic deaths that occur every single day, and to really drive the point home, interview the grieving family members of the deceased.
That is all this is. Thanks to smart phones, they can always find juicy stories like this to drive home their agenda - even though this sort of thing happens a lot less than it used to.
I ignore it all and take every case on a case by case basis. The answer to all of this is in the famous Chris Rock video. Cooperate with police and you will almost certainly be fine. This is especially true since the cops now have body cams. They have to be more careful than ever.
A lot of people might be looking to get that new big screen TV or a GUCCI purse about now.

I call BS on this guy suffocating because of the hood. It’s probably that condition they call excited delirium is what did him in.
