Watched on CSPAN and enjoyed the entire night. Saw the NeverTrump Roundtable after the show and skipped to Laura since we started late.
Speech was flat, what does that mean? Just another subjective slight with no meaning. It was full of policy and accomplishments Senile Biden couldn’t possible match. They raved about Biden’s short screed.
Have to acknowledge Tucker for having an anti Biden video which ran at the convention.
He did what he wanted, he calmed the suburban women. He doesn't need red met at this speech, his avid passionate voters are still supporting him. He used this as a campaign speech, brilliant.

Fox has now taken over (“partnered with”) WBAP our morning news and talk on radio in DFW area. I know what is coming to a station that has been mostly conservative and common sense. Many years folks here listen to this station. Why does Fox want this? I’ll let’ you guess.
CNN was better and much less disruptive than Faux News.
I just watched the first stream that came up on my guide. Usually CBS or NBC online stream with no commentary. No need to seek out FNC these days.

On the other hand, she is the left personified, so there may be some value in watching her resort to yelling and profanities in lieu of actually making a point. During her most recent shoutfest, it appeared she was excusing the rioting on account of her black history.

This was a targeted speech to the “well, his tweets are mean” crowd - i.e. - the suburban mom vote that will likely decide the race.
I think too many expected the raucous and edgy stump speeches we see at the rallies.
This was NOT the venue for that and the optics would have been bad from the White House.
This whole convention was about remaking the Republican brand as a whole. It succeeded.

Missed the commentary, my tv turns off if Chris Wallace’s face appears.
I thought it rambled and was a little long, but I didn't think it was flat. I think he wanted to contrast with Slow Joe's speech, which was little more than a blurb. I cannot imagine Joe staying on script as long as Trump did last night.
BTW on a side note, I thought Karen Pence wore an expression of disgust throughout the speech. She looked like a soccer mom who finds Trump's tweets offensive.

I also feel frustrated with Fox when they have Brazile and other Dims on, but I also think it IS good to hear what they have to say, and also to DEFEND their RIGHT to say it, even if it is totally INFURIATING!!
So, I think it is important—in keeping with the spirit of FREE republic—to support Fox for allowing us to hear the voices of those who express views and support ideas that we don’t like, and NOT join the DEMONRATS in them CANCELLING them and shouting: “How dare they!”?
