Watched on CSPAN and enjoyed the entire night. Saw the NeverTrump Roundtable after the show and skipped to Laura since we started late.
Speech was flat, what does that mean? Just another subjective slight with no meaning. It was full of policy and accomplishments Senile Biden couldn’t possible match. They raved about Biden’s short screed.
He did what he wanted, he calmed the suburban women. He doesn't need red met at this speech, his avid passionate voters are still supporting him. He used this as a campaign speech, brilliant.
I thought it rambled and was a little long, but I didn't think it was flat. I think he wanted to contrast with Slow Joe's speech, which was little more than a blurb. I cannot imagine Joe staying on script as long as Trump did last night.
BTW on a side note, I thought Karen Pence wore an expression of disgust throughout the speech. She looked like a soccer mom who finds Trump's tweets offensive.
