"... I heard the police telling him to drop the knife . . ."
(Excerpt) Read more at en.as.com ...
It looks like the picture those may have been car keys. He should have complied and nothing would have happened.
I’m told that blade in his hand were probably car keys. I’m not saying the cops were wrong, just what was reported.
The most dangerous regular/typical call an officer can respond to
Locally, a police officer was blinded due to a long time felon attacking him with a knife.
It was a domestic.
“””Its very common for cops to do this in order to create a narrative that supports their side. When they were murdering George Floyd they kept yelling stop resisting at a dead man. Same sort of thing.””””””
Did these cops also fill Saint George up with massive amounts of fentanyl?
Hadn’t heard that. Thanks for the mention.
Sorry to hear about the officer’s injuries.
oh please good grief BLM beckons you.
If you go, you’re as likely to be shot by the wife as the
perp. These things get ugly.
Was out at a restaurant, years ago. Some guy was giving
the women with him hell.
At one point he threw her on the hood of a car.
My friend and I asked the guy to take it easy. The femals
shouted a long diatribe of curse words in our direction.
You never know when women really do need help, and if they
are playing, they need to be careful what they do. Someone
might use a gun on the guy.
the trolls narrative is BLM talking points it seems.
Yup
Stepdad was a cop 20 years
It is not an odd comment if youve had interactions with bad cops. Believe it or not, there are some, just like there are bad lawyers, bad doctors, bad accountants, bad grocery clerks, the list goes on.
“Antifa infiltrator?”
Maybe an old account that was hack, ran into another one earlier this week. A lot of them on FR.
Username checks out.
I saw a picture—maybe a knife and maybe a set of keys. Glad I am not a cop.
In my state if the cop does not make an arrest for a DV (within 4 hours), the officer could be held personally liable for not making the arrest if they had an opportunity to arrest. Girlfriend in the car with children maybe? Guy gets into the car drives away and kills everyone...family sues...wins. Even against the officer and family personally, and the department throws the officer under the bus.
DK
authority issues huh.....
You realize George Floyd said I cant breath before he was ever taken to ground, right? And that the autopsy showed he had taken a likely-fatal amount of fentanyl, among other drugs?
Body cam vids and autopsy are out there.
So you say it’s very common...the guy was wrestling with 2 cops and had a prior for pulling a gun in a bar.
I say it’s very common for these perps to be portrayed as gentle giants or choirboys after the fact.
