Remember when parsley was served as garnish at every restaurant meal in America?

Nikki Haley is the parsley of the GOP.

No matter what Republican voters order, the GOP tries to add Nikki Haley to the meal.

While I do not want the see Haley as the face of the future GOP, she made a good speech last night. The low point was the veiled reference to getting rid of the Confederate Flag.

At least the tweet didn’t say she was the curry of the GOP.

Cause that would be RAAAAAAAAAAACIST.

I am not sure I trust Nikki Haley.

And everytime she is mentioned by some pundit, it’s always mentioned that she might be running in 2024.

Why do they say that?

Didn’t she betray Trump back when he was running?

I just don’t trust her.

And she’s been on Fox this morning already.

Have you always been a rude, name-calling, smarmy idiot? Or only on FR. Are you incapable of intelligent discourse?

Right now, and I realize it's early and I don't know a lot about her, I'm very bullish on Kristi Noem. Whether she runs or not in 2024, she's young (40s), smart, and tough, and the party needs people like her post-Trump. Actually, we need people like her now because most of the party and especially those useless jellyfish comprising the House and Senate delegations—minus a select too few, of course—would capitulate yesterday to the RATS were it not for the President.

A Romney colleague? Then she’s to be utterly shunned. Wasn’t Ann Coulter a Romney fan too?

Dangerous.

I think Haley’s comet has come and gone. The new GOP woman with high POTUS potential is the Governor of South Dakota.

Any others come to mind?

The trouble with politics is you get “owned” by your sponsors. Haley was a comet in the Bush orbit. But now she wants to somehow keep her Bush friends and be blessed by the Trump crowd.

Ain’t gonna happen because they are fundamentally different.

Bush is a RINO. Trump is a Republican lion. They don’t get along with each other for good reason.

An insightful response.

Thank you.

She will have to work hard to convince me but we shall see.

I will never vote for her. If the Republicans are ever foolish enough to nominate her, I will sit at home on election day.

you know it! I left being any illusions of being a republican after cromnibus - I think I'm more of an annoying I.C.A.H. (insert clever acronym here) than anything these days.

No my point is that lots of people who showed up for work for president Trump seemed to be actively and purposefully subverted him or had their own agendas.

Prebuis, Tillerson, Sessions, Comey, Bolton, Rosestein, you know that list goes on for a while. She seemed to articulate the Trump world view at the UN and kept her disagreements private. I think that's professional.

I know she was pretty vicious toward the president when he was the candidate, but that's not too uncommon. She did get on board once he was the nominee. Unlike say Ted Cruz who might not be a RINO but he a phony asshole who would trample over his own children and fight off Lindsey Graham and Chuck Schumer to get in front of a camera first - I digress.

I am not a big Nicky Haley fan - frankly, I bet you know way more about her than I. I found her speak self serving a bit but she's a politician I guess that gets filtered out out as I start at with the assumption that if you want to be in politics you're some sort of psychopathic narcissist.

She showed up and is supporting the president and defending the world vision as well as highlighting that the president wants to have a big tent.

Why make enemies with people who are showing up to help enact the vision? People who agree with us most of the time.

Aren't they coming over to our way of thinking and as the wins accumulate probably are going to adapt their beliefs to be more in line with president Trumps?

I also wonder if it was a play to make Kamala Harris chose between being Indian or Black thus pissing off one group.

Off to sharpen my horn, and there are poachers about! Back to my sharpening closet. Then I got a conference call with Senator Collins. After that I'm riding my unicycle down the middle of the road.

Jeff Flake? I’ve always thought of her as Paul Ryan in a dress. Have you ever seen a picture of them together? Maybe she IS Paul Ryan in a dress. Perfect GOPE memeber.
