With trumpets and the blast of the horn raise a shout before Hashem, the King. Psalms 98:6 (The Israel BibleTM)
A petition is currently being considered by Prime Minister which, if accepted, will permit a Jew to blow the shofar on Rosh Hashanna on the Temple Mount. Since the first day of Rosh Hashanna is on the Sabbath, it will be the only place in the entire Jewish world that a shofar will be blown and it will mark the first time since the destruction of the Temple that a Jew will be permitted to perform this powerful act at the holiest site in the world.
The Organization of 70 Nations, headed by Rabbi Hillel Weiss, and the Land of Israel Organization (Mateh LMaan Eretz Yisrael)headed by Aviad Vosoli, petitioned Prime Minister Netanyahu to permit the blowing of the shofar on the Temple Mount on the holy day of Rosh Hashanna.
Jews are only permitted to enter the Temple Mount five days a week: Sunday to Thursday. This year, the first day of Rosh Hashanna is on Saturday, the Sabbath. According to Jewish law, it is forbidden to blow the shofar on the Sabbath except for on the Temple Mount. So we submitted a request to permit a group of Jews to do so; to blow the shofar on the Temple Mount on the first day of Rosh Hashana.
If they succeed, this will be the first time a shofar will be blown on the Temple Mount since the destruction of the Temple 1,950 years ago. In contravention of the law, the Israeli police forbid any non-Islamic symbols, non-Palestinian national symbols, or non-Muslim rituals on the Temple Mount. This policy is an attempt to lessen Arab violence.

This would be the first time since the Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. that the shofar was blown on Rosh Hashanah on the Temple Mount.
Upon the sound of the first trumpet, hail and fire mingled with blood is thrown to Earth, burning up a third of the trees on the planet, and all green grass.
In both the short term and the long term, rewarding violence promotes more violence. Never under any circumstances allow terrorists to win. Whether it's Hezbollah, Antifa, PLO, BlackThugsMatter, Al Qaeda, or the Democrats, terrorists must be stopped every time they initiate violence. No exceptions. Israeli police should reverse their policy and permit Jews to worship freely at this Jewish site.
Ping.
Sends chills down my spine. We are REALLY close to the end - the rebuilding of the temple and the re-instituting the temple sacrifice as foretold in Daniel.
The Jews will try to re-institute the Mosaic Law which has been supplanted by the Covenant of the Grace of Christ which is what the Book of Hebrews is all about. Regardless, in the Daniel’s Seventieth Week - the unimaginablely horrific seven-year tribulation - the whole Nation of Israel will be saved. However, except for the 1/3 remnant who will be hiding in the mountains of Petra, all will be slaughtered by the “man of sin” - the “beast”. But hallelujah they will be saved.
So this and many other things surround the imminent rebuilding of the temple and the resumption of the sacrifice are clear signs the end is near - in a few decades IMO. IMO, this, the 21st Century which is also the beginning of the Seventh Millennium, will be the most astonishing century ever seen with
- Jesus catching up his Church to Heaven,
- Daniel’s horrific seventieth week (Revelation Chapt 4-19), and
- Jesus triumphant return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to reign from Jerusalem of 1000 years with his Church .
I believe the century will end with Jesus, the Price of Peace ruling the world from Jerusalem with us his Church as kings and priests. Wow. What a time we are living in..
There is NO........... Sanhedrin
bkmk
Daniel wrote of the rebuilding of the temple in 500 bc. Daniel’s vision ends with a rock, hewn by no hand becoming a mountain that encompasses the earth. That is Jesus and the mountain is the Christian church that arose on the pentecost.
Daniel’s visions were fulfilled with the resurrection of the Christ
Oh the irony if such were the case...
The youtube channel Invictus put together a great animation of the 70 A.D. Roman siege and eventual capture of Jerusalem.

Whoa!
At the last trump, eh?
I hope this is live streamed because I would really like to see it.
Does anyone know if it will be if this gets approved?
Great post, and I agree with everything except the one phrase quoted above. I personally don't think we have anywhere near a few decades left. More likely, a few -- VERY few -- years at most. Humanity as a whole has fallen so far, so fast. There's nowhere left to fall. The wholesale embrace of every conceivable evil thought, word and deed is exponentially increasing. I'd think the vast majority of humanity would be exterminated before a few more decades have passed.
Confucius say, man who blows shofar sure knows how to treat the help.
Thanks.
it will be the only place in the entire Jewish world that a shofar will be blown
Twaddle!
I used to belong to a synagogue where the shofar was always sounded on the first day of Rosh Hashanna.
The Torah says: "On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets." (Num 29:1)
It doesn't say, "except if it's Shabbat." IMHO, it is against Torah Law NOT to blow the shofar on the first day of the seventh month, i.e. Rosh Hashanna. The prohibition arises from a Rabinnic prohibition against carrying things on Shabbat. And even with this, the prohibition doesn't make sense as the shofar blower could leave his shofar at the synagogue before Shabbat. Following the logic of this prohibition, it would make just as much sense to ban the the use of Machzorim (prayer books) on the first day of Rosh Hashanna when it falls on Shabbat. Curiously there is no similar prohibition when Yom Kippor (the "Shabbat of Shabbats") falls on Shabbat.

Better study the 70 weeks - Daniel 9:24-27 - more carefully.
A prophetic week is always seven years. Verse 25 breaks down 69 weeks (483 years). Verse 26 says Christ is cut off (crucified) after the 69 weeks (483 years) and Christ was crucified exactly 483 years after King Cyrus’ command to restore Jerusalem.
But what about the 70th week (seven years)?
Verse 27 tells us. “[H]e [the ‘abomination of desolation’ (’desolation’ mentioned in the previous verse) AKA the beast] shall confirm the covenant [the lying covenant with Israel] for one week [the 70th week]. The rest of verse 27 tells us about the utter desolations of the last 3 1/2 years detailed in Revelation 11:15-19:21.
No, there is much more to come. Arise and shine for your light is come!!! (Isaiah 60:1).
Rabbi Hillel Weiss emphasized that on Rosh Hashanna the world is judged and that aspect of the holiday is taking on dire meaning under the current conditions. Our demand now is to apply the one true sovereignty onto Zion, Rabi Weiss said. call out to the King of kings with the eternal voice of the shofar, to spread His Kingdom to every creature. We are calling on the current Israeli government to take their role in manifesting the universal desire for redemption, which is the real mandate of the State of Israel. It is our role to enable all of the nations to pray before HaShem (God, literally the name) with one voice, as we did at Mount Sinai, like we did after creation like we are destined to do again in the end-of-days when the dead will be resurrected, the day of universal and true freedom.
Pretty incredible, isnt it?
This is about the shofar being blown in the temple mount. Rosh Hashanah this year falls on the Sabbath and Jews are not permitted on the temple mount on Saturdays. Hence, the petition.
I think we’re in the midst of a false start by Satan. He thinks the time is now. But Luke 14:23 tells us there’s one last worldwide in-gathering of souls that needs to happen first. It will take about that much time for Israel to actually rebuild the temple and start the sacrifice.
Right now, our job is to restore the true Gospel of the Grace of Christ (Jude 3) which will usher in this great last worldwide awakening before Christ catches up his Church, the Holy Spirit leaves the earth, and the unimaginable begins.
