I worked for a large retail company where an attractive 40ish brunette held the title of “Regional Merchandise Coordinator”. She accompanied a particular male executive when he traveled around touring stores, but beyond that we could never identify her actual duties, function, or value to the company.

Later I had a female boss who was very accomplished and had reached Director level. They had a corporate shindig at the home office and upper management invited a cute young female colleague of mine to attend. Our boss gave her a pre-flight briefing and advised her to “only sleep with someone if you really think it is going to advance your career.”

It sounded like she knew from whence she spoke.

Outside of the source, women in the workforce resent other women who must have done something to get promoted into positions of incompetence as it puts pressure on them to do the same.

Women already hate each other enough as it is. Potential sleeping up the company ladder only makes it worse.

With over 35 years in corporate world I too think that 15% is about right. But that's only about 7.5% of the total workforce.

But your point is well taken, women do not have a monopoly on bad virtue.

I bet the incidence in entertainment is probably >90%. I doubt there is a famous actress or singer out there who hasn’t strategically slept her way around. It is just the way the business seems to work.

The difference is that back then most of our female voters were sitting around wishing that Clinton would harass THEM. When a female gets ahead thru sluttiness the other women around her have a very different reaction. Even if they engaged in this behavior themselves. Inborn cattiness is going to do very bad things to Kamala's campaign I think.
