Totally agree. This is utter BS. And why did this poll suddenly arise? Could it be a lame attempt to protect Heels up Harris?
That works out to about 5% of women at the director level.
I wonder what the percentage is for gay men? And that total added to hetero men? My guess would be it’s about the same total percentage, which, given the success of narcissists and sociopaths in business, etc., really isn’t that high.
I wonder how many women resent being accused of sleeping with the boss to get ahead resent that—as I imagine it is a greater number than those who actually do.
I also question how honest the responses to this poll—on any level.
That’s why Mike Pence never eats alone with any woman. Very good idea, I think. But when that was revealed, the press commented on it as an example of Pence’s weirdness. On the vice -presidential level, we have clear choice between somebody who tries to even avoid anything which could be misconstructed and somebody who brazenly does the things and it is not even ashamed about doing it!
Yikes! Is that from a movie or TV show?
“I worked in Big Corporate for 23 years - I believe them.”
Same here. I think 15% is a low number. I worked at a high end hotel in HS 40 years ago. There was male manager for nearly everything.
They would take female employees up to rooms like it was nothing. Waitresses would hook up with bellhops, chefs et.
I believe 115% of women have slept with their bosses.
most businesses are small business, no HR department. Just the boss and his employees.
Might be riskier in those places.
15% is lowballing it. I don’t know the exact figure, but I am confident it’s over 15%.
In many countries it is actually illegal! It is called sex with somebody you have direct power relationship. E.g. Boss with subordinate, teacher with student etc. Basically Willie Brown would serve some time in jail in these countries. Actually these lavs are a lot better to protect women in workplace than the sexual harassment mess which so badly defined.
“It is career death for a manager to engage in a sexual relationship with a subordinate”
I have worked with thousands of companies over the years. Depends on the company and how strict they control it. Some companies it’s rampant and some none at all-same type of business, # of male/female employees etc.
A friend works for a major soap company on the production floor. 50% male and female. He told me 25-30% of the employees are cheating. he met his wife there but neither were married.

So 63% just got ....
It’s not like office romance is new.
I agree, I think the number is much higher than that in most office situations.
The important take from the article is the negative impression of people who sleep their way up the ladder.
And Harris did sleep her way up the ladder. There’s no doubt about that.
It’s a character issue that could cost the Democrats a lot of votes.
I said this a couple days ago. Harris has already alienated a lot of Blacks. You’re going to see a bigger Black vote for President Trump than any Republican since 1960.
That leaves White Women. This is the Donkey’s next strongest voting block....especially suburban White Women. Just talk about the fact that in her 20s, Heels Up Harris started having an affair with a politically powerful married man in his 60s and got jobs and promotions over more qualified candidates as a result. This will poison the well for White Suburban feminist leaning Women. This is everything they hate. This is the epitome of what they do not want for their daughters.
50% at Defense Intelligence Agency. Fact.
Yep. Whatever the figure is, it’s higher than 15%.
Honestly, I’d more readily believe the figure is closer to 30-35%. But I honestly don’t know. I am just confident it’s higher than 15%.
