Both the White House and the Trump campaign on Sunday said unequivocally that Sen. Kamala Harris is eligible to serve as vice president and blamed the media for fomenting unfounded questions about the issue.
Yeah, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on CNNs State of the Union. This is not something that were going to pursue yall have spent more time on it than anybody in the White House has talking about this.
Trump campaign senior advisor Jason Miller said its not something anyone on the campaign is talking about.
In our opinion, it is case closed. End of story. And the only folks who keep bringing it up are the media, Mr. Miller said on ABCs This Week.
Ms. Harris was born in Oakland, California to a Jamaican-born father and an Indian mother and is a natural born citizen eligible to serve as vice president.
President Trump has said in recent days that he has no idea whether a theory put forth by a conservative lawyer calling Ms. Harriss eligibility into question is correct.
The lawyer happens to be brilliant lawyer, as you probably know, the president said on Saturday. He wrote an article saying there could be a problem. Its not something that Im going to be pursuing.
Newsweek has since apologized for the recent opinion piece from attorney John Eastman, saying its being used by some as a tool to perpetuate racism and xenophobia.

Smart move on WH and campaign. Harris is radical enough. No need to be made to look evil by trying to disqualify her.
“perpetuate racism and xenophobia”
It’s racist and xenophobic to want to be ruled by someone from your own country who’s part of your nation.
Got that?
Good. Now bow to Xi Jinping.
“Smart move on WH and campaign”
It’s the death of America. Setting a precedent like this continues the usurpation started by the Kenyan.
Meadows just dropped a turd on America’s future.
I thought he said he would not touch this.
Anyone born on US soil and over 35 is eligible- sad but true. Anchor babies like Heels Harris are indeed as eligible as you and I
He let it slide. That’s “not touching” by my definition.
I think it’s smart to recognize Kamala Harris’ heritage. She’s an Indian-Jamacian
If Camel’s parents weren’t U.S. citizens when she was born it doesn’t matter where she was born because that makes her Constitutionally ineligible to be president. Period.
f they choose, any citizen can pursue this since as citizens they have “standing”
It is simply not necessary for the Campaign or Trump to deal with it.
“Smart move on WH and campaign. Harris is radical enough. No need to be made to look evil by trying to disqualify her.”
Exactly. Leave that to surrogate pundits and legal organizations like Judicial Watch. White House can be nonchalant, but it needs to be dealt with by others.
FR POSTED Fact check: Image purportedly of Kamala Harriss birth certificate does not show she was identified as Caucasian...possibly falsified
Keep in mind...falsifying official documents is the preferred criminal method to cover-up larger crimes.
Can also involve forgery and/or passing copies of false documents.
Falsifying documents is usually done in connection with broader criminal aims, such as extortion, government fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, financing terrorism.
Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony.
This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:Having to pay a monetary fine;Incarceration in a prison facility
Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years.
Also, if government documents or authorities were involved in aiding and abetting falsifications, the legal penalties may be more severe.
Legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses. The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.
NOTE WELL When someone is hired for top-level govt jobs, there is a very long, very official paper trail.
Harris had to fill out a slew of govt documents.
Where are Harris (A) applications for employment?
(B) applications for federal and state pensions?
Was Harris ever bonded?
Does she own property?
Who were Harris previous employers?
Were her Tax returns checked?
Were her income statements checked?
Were her Bank account records checked?
Were her visas, passports, etc. checked?
Were her Ids and other birth info checked?
Kamalas immigrants parents.... father (Jamaican), mother (Indian), were not US citizens at the time of her birth in 1964 in Oakland, Calif.
Ergo, Kamala is an anchor baby: A child born to a noncitizen mother in a country when the childs birthplace is thought
to have been chosen for the specific purpose of improving the mothers......and/or other relatives.....chances of securing eventual citizenship.
When did her parent become citizens?
Was her birth used in the parental citizenship quest?
How many of Kamalas relatives secured citizenship after her birth?
If the founders wanted anyone born in America is eligible, they would have said so.
But the Constitution says “Natural Born citizen,” which they understood to be “born is the US with both parents citizens.”
Losing the election also makes people ineligible to be President.
That may be true. Unfortunately the argument it only seems to get support in our forums. It never garnered mass support during BOs time and I am doubtful if it will for KH. The fact that even the White House is turning away from it just goes to show how support is limited. Maybe OAN (and Fox??) should push it, although even then I doubt it will catch.
When I was a kid, theres no doubt I was taught that natural born citizen meant born in the US of parents who were US citizens.

During an appearance on the radio show The Breakfast Club in February, Kamala Harris joked with host Charlamagne tha God. When asked whether she supported or opposed the legalization of the drug, she replied saying, Half my family is from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?
Kamalas father was far from amused.
In a statement to Jamaica Global Online, Donald Harris, an Award-Winning Stanford Professor,
an economist who immigrated to the U.S. from Jamaica for his Ph.D, wrote:
My dear departed must be turning in their grave right now to see their familys name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not, with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker in the pursuit of identity politics.
I guess all achor babies are also eligible?
I sure wasn’t sure about that, until now.
Good to get this out of the way, I guess.
Settled science.
I think they just know this is a fight for someone else? Trump and company need to focus on other things.
Good
Losing issue
