Smart move on WH and campaign. Harris is radical enough. No need to be made to look evil by trying to disqualify her.

“perpetuate racism and xenophobia”

It’s racist and xenophobic to want to be ruled by someone from your own country who’s part of your nation.

Got that?

Good. Now bow to Xi Jinping.

Anyone born on US soil and over 35 is eligible- sad but true. Anchor babies like Heels Harris are indeed as eligible as you and I

If Camel’s parents weren’t U.S. citizens when she was born it doesn’t matter where she was born because that makes her Constitutionally ineligible to be president. Period.

If the founders wanted anyone born in America is eligible, they would have said so.

But the Constitution says “Natural Born citizen,” which they understood to be “born is the US with both parents citizens.”

I’m glad to see that they’re not going to touch it. Its a political loser. I would hope we’d learned that lesson from the Obama years. The media will just use it to undercut the rest of our argument against the candidate.

The White House should absolutely ignore this issue. It’s not going to help the campaign to pursue this.

President Trump is not pursuing the question.
Sleepy Joe has to attest to Cameltoe’s eligibility to each State.

The States run the election

We all know she isn’t eligible but since Trump is going to win in a landslide it’s not worth the hassle.

PJDT: "It’s not something that I’m going to be pursuing."

If PDJT were to change his mind about it, the comment above will carry zero legal weight.

No surprise here.

Did anyone seriously believe that President Trump would embrace a definition of natural born citizen that would've rendered his own children ineligible?

“The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.”

Notice how wikipedia leaves the last part off, “of parents who are citizens.”

Well I guess that laws don’t matter any more, especially in politics.

Anyone ever notice that it always the democrats that put forth candidates that cause problems with the natural citizenship clause. I wonder why they have such a hard time finding candidates that were born in the US to parents that were born in the US. Maybe because they want candidates that are not loyal to the traditional values of the US.

Yes, we use English here. She was born in the U.S.A. and is eligible in that way. Foreigners who are naturalized after being born in other countries are not natural born citizens, and fringe state folks with foreign sentiments won’t confuse the issue enough to allow foreign-born, naturalized citizens to be presidents.

Instead of pushing it as a legal issue, it could be publicized as a practical issue. Maybe she has foreign culture allegiances, and that would be a reason for Americans to vote against her. In other words, many people who are in fact citizens are not loyal to the U.S.A. They can be called un-American in that sense.

But I suspect that very few Democrats or unaffiliated voters care about that. Many of them do care about jobs, crime and other issues important to themselves, though.
