An Air Force helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at a Virginia airport Monday after someone shot at it, injuring a member of the crew, local and military officials told McClatchy.
The UH-1N Huey helicopter is assigned to the 1st Helicopter Squadron at Joint Base Andrews and had been on a routine training flight, the base said in a statement. The injured crew member, who was not identified, was treated at a hospital and released.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident.

More targetted attacks planned against Trump?
Good thing the FBI is on the case....
Dirty rotten scum!
From Maryland, over Virginia. I am going to take a guess and speculate it was not rural Virginia.
I hear the FBI heard a rumor about a guy who told another guy that he heard from someone else that Putin asked Trump to arrange this (using code words and dog whistles) and Trump didn’t say no. Their investigation has shifted and they’ve enlisted a foreign spy in England to dig into the Putin angle while they will surreptitiously be monitoring all communications of the Trump campaign effective immediately.
Just a Vietcong having a flash-back.
Give that Governor Coon supports ANTIFA/BLM now, we can narrow the suspects down.
Ft. Sumter 2.0 cannot be far away now
Some LW radical givng the black face Gov another reason to take guns?
John Brown/Antifa Gun Club member?
They will get right to the bottom of it in jig time.
Probably. Joint Base Andrews is where his helicopters normally take him to board Air Force One. Some bad actor probably thought he was taking out Trump here.
It would appear that 'all the tangos are not 'outside the wire'.
Me thinks a hefty reward will bring this investigation to a quick resolve
Like starting at 10,0000 or so.
Some knows something afor sure and money talks when it comes to this kinda scum
